Loved the location; Nauset Beach is my favorite and a short walk away, and I am a regular at Joe's Bar at the Barleyneck Inn. Farm Market, Bakery and Sandwich Shop steps away, three good restaurants within walking distance, Newstand, Post Office and Ice Cream Shop across the street, total enclosure and privacy. That is why.
Close to all the essentials. Cape Cod light, Nauset Beach, National Seashore, surf casting, dolphin rescue, whale watching, excellent food if you know where to go and an incredible cultural scene.
Listing accurate; property just as depicted in photos; clean, well-maintained w/ helpful owner. Convenient location to small grocery, beach, favorite ice cream place & a few other shops while still offering seclusion & privacy. The interior elegantly designed and appointed & filled w/ owner's personal art, photography, books, etc. rare in a vacation rental all make for a comfortable stay. Happy to recommend it.
What a lovely place to spend your vacation! The location couldn't be better - on the way to Nauset Beach and walking distance to restaurants, stores, and ice cream! After a day at the beach, it was the perfect place to relax - from the inviting décor, to the fabulous porch and patio. And the kitchen -wow! We spent most nights making dinner and playing card games with our 11 and 15 year old boys at the large kitchen table. We're already looking forward to next year!
My family and I stayed at this wonderfully appointed home for a week this summer. We have been vacationing in Cape Cod our entire lives and love the serenity. This house was comfortable for our family of 5 and our way of living. We enjoy cooking and the kitchen was filled with everything needed. The house was VERY clean and felt like home. The location was convenient to some of our favorite places... Nauset Fish, the Orleans field for Cape Cod baseball and the National Seashore. This house is a gem!
This home is fantastic! Tastefully decorated, comfortable , simple and sophisticated. Vacationed for a week with our adult children and found it to be a perfect location for us. The kitchen is fully equipped for gourmet meals and family gathering. We don't usually cook often on our vacation but we so enjoyed the house , we cooked four nights! The light is amazing in every room, beds very comfortable, and decor beautiful. We loved having air conditioning and we enjoyed the lovely terrace sitting area every night. It was so convenient having wonderful restaurants close by as well as Nauset Farms market a short stroll away. The Sundae ice cream shop is a delicious bonus directly across the street! It was great being a mile and a half from Nauset beach, one of the most beautiful beaches anywhere as well. We had one of our best family vacations ever here in this perfect home. Tony is wonderful and responsive and a pleasure to deal with. Thank you Tony for sharing your home with us!
My family spent a week at this home for the second summer in a row and hope to be back next year. The home is beautiful, especially the first floor. The kitchen has everything you could need and was where we spent most of our time when not at the beach. The porch with rocking chairs was another loved spot and a great place to watch the kids play in the grassy yard. Having an ice cream shop, pizza restaurant and Nauset Farms ( produce, ice and deli )all in walkng distance made our stays true vacations. There is no need to get in and out of the car for packing beach picnics or dinners. We also found the quiet, dead end side street that the house corners an ideal biking spot for young children. Obviously, Nauset Beach, which is a three minute drive, is our main reaon for vacationing here- Best beach on the Cape- However, having such a comfortable, clean, convenient home to stay in made our weeks enjoyable and we look forward to many more family vacations and memories here.
Our family had a wonderful time on our first visit to Cape Cod. The home is as lovely as the pictures portray with lots of great shops within walking distance. We especially enjoyed Zia Pizza and Sunday School Ice Cream right across the street! Nauset Beach is pristine and a short drive. Home is clean and well maintained and the owner was a pleasure to work with, very responsive and helpful. We would recommend this home to family and friends.
