Cottage, 4 Bedrooms, 1.5 Baths, (Sleeps 7)

An individual, typical, seashore cottage by the sea all on one floor. A very comfortable, home like atmosphere. It is located one block behind the Port O Call hotel and is a short 1 1/2 blocks to the beach and wooden, 2 1/2 mile boardwalk. It is just 8 miles south of Atlantic City and 20 minutes north of Wildwwod and 30 minutes north of Cape May, N.J. Also just an hour from Historic Philadelphia, home of the Liberty Bell and Philadelphia Eagles. This makes a great day trip for the whole family.

We are a couple who have enjoyed our time here with family and friends very much. It was close to the beach and just the right size for our family. Also we have a great neighborhood with wonderful neighbors.

Why jeannette herrman chose Boardwalk

We discovered Ocean City as grown-ups and wish we

could have vacationed here as childen. We fell in love

with the area and looked for an individual Ocean City

cottage near the beach and boardwalk. The short 1 1/2

blocks is not far to walk with young children and beach gear.

What makes this cottage unique

We enjoy the people of O.C. and meeting the families who

come here with their children for the family atmosphere. All during the summer there are activities for children as well as their parents and also a well guarded safe beach.

Two other unique benefits are the many programs and

Pops Orchestra concerts every week at the Music Pier

next to the beach. The second is our interfaith

Tabernacle, which seats over 2,000 at the 8:30 and

10:30 services every Sunday with Sunday school and child care at each service. Also special programs and concerts during the week. Each Sunday there are

inspiring messages from pastors around the country !

Great Place For a Family Vacation at the Shore

Staying here (5 of us) was almost like staying in your own home. Listing and photos were very accurate. It was very clean, had 4 nice size bedrooms (one with a TV), 1.5 baths, a living room with comfortable furniture and a nice flat screen tv, and a kitchen that contained everything you would ever need in case you forgot to bring something. Air conditioners worked fine. My personal favorite was the screened-in front porch which was great for just sitting and relaxing, or for playing cards. Also had a back deck and parking for 2 cars which often came in handy. Only 2 blocks to the beach. Owners were very nice and accomodating. I highly recommend staying at this "home".

Reasonably Priced Lovely Family Get Away

We enjoyed our stay at the Pelican's Roost immensely. Our group of 6 had plenty of room for group fun and still room for privacy. Four bedrooms and 1.5 baths plus living room, dining room, screened in front porch and back deck for the price is a great bargain. The house was clean and neat and all on one floor. The beds were comfortable. It is 1.5 blocks from a nice quiet beach and the boardwalk. It is a few blocks from shopping and restaurants.

The owners were very accommodating and pleasant to work with. I would definitely recommend staying at the Pelican Roost to a friend and hope we can return next year.

Excellent location and house. Quiet neighborhood, 2 blocks to beach. I highly recommend the rental.
