Caribbean Style home with vaulted ceilings, large airy bedrooms in the heart of Grace Bay, close to the beach, restaurants, casino, golf course and shopping. Steps away from Coco Bistro, a top island restaurant and next to the golf course.

Very private location with wrap around terrace, covered and open patios with hot tub surrounded by well maintained tropical gardens and trees.

The 2000 sq ft residence has been refurbished this summer inside and out. We have added a four poster queen bed to the east bedroom and upgraded the two queen beds in the west bedroom. The queen murphy bed in the main living area has been also been upgraded and we have new Egyptian cotton linens throughout .

A pool has been completed in November 2011.

Please come and enjoy our little piece of paradise. We have a great property manager to assist when necessary. A comprehensive guide to our favourite restaurants, shops, beaches and activities will be forwarded prior to your arrival so you can plan your holiday and find your way around!

Car rentals , while not strictly necessary, will assist you in enjoying the amenities around the island. Advance reservations are recommended. Grace Bay Car rentals is very close and has airport pick up.

About The Owner

We first visited Providenciales in 1987 and fell in love with this wonderful Island. We love the opportunity to escape our Canadian winters but have found it enjoyable at any time of year . Like watching a child grow, Provo has come of age as a world class destination from its sleepy, get away from it all beginnings. We have built this home with the amenities we expect at home, but with that extra sunshine. It is fully furnished, with internet and cable and with a flexible floor plan that sleeps 6. While we are not in residence on Provo, experienced on island property management will facilitate your stay. We hope you enjoy Providenciales as much as we do.

Why The Owner chose Providenciales - Provo

We love the privacy of a residential area, yet the proximity to all the important amenities. Most are within walking distance such as restaurants grocery store, banks, shopping and vacation activities. The beach is about 1700ft away by a short walk. We chose to install a hot tub rather that a pool at this time as the beach is nearby and the hot tub is lovely for a private evening.

What makes this house unique

The home is spacious and lends itself well to families or friends vacationing together, each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, it's own flat panel television and small kitchenette in addition to the main fully equipped kitchen, living room and outdoor living areas. A murphy bed in the living room has its own bathroom allows for private sleeping arrangement for 6. Wi-Fi access is available throughout. Tropical gardens allow for peaceful relaxation on the wrap around terrace.

We just returned from a fabulously relaxing week at Gracemir. We were 2 couples travelling together and chose Gracemir because it provides each couple with their own master suite with ensuite, private entry and air conditioning yet has very comfortable common areas with enough room for everyone. We spent most of our time at the outdoor shaded patio or lounging in the pool. There are numerous outdoor sitting areas provided depending on the winds, sun, shade. I found myself moving around to each of these areas just to say I spent time at all of them. The pool is small, but it's all we needed to dunk ourselves when we felt the need (it was the perfect temperature, low 80s) Although it is in the GraceBay area I recommend renting a car as the island has so much to see. The owners supply coolers, beach chairs, umbrellas, beachtowels...everything you need to go out and find all of Provos many beaches. Our favorite was Taylor Bay, in the Southwest off Chalksound. We spent most of our beach time at Flamigos, a little restaurant/bar East of the Club Med which has lots of parking. The kitchen was well appointed, providing everything we needed for the week. It was much like being at home. The owners have taken the time to compile a booklet of recommended outings with directions and tips, lists of restaurants with phone numbers and directions and a local cell phone which we used to make reservations. All in all they provided absolutely everything you need to have a carefree, relaxing holiday in a clean, comfortable surrounding. All you need to do is relax and enjoy!

Most Enjoyable Vacation!

We (2 couples) had the pleasure of staying at Gracemir House from January 25 - February 1, 2013. We found that the listing description was 100% accurate, and the photos in the listing accurately reflected the rental's appearance and amenities. The property was clean and well-maintained, and the owners were very helpful in answering any questions or concerns. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to friends or relatives. We found the best snorkeling at Coral Gardens, which is about 12 minutes from Gracemir. It is a part of the Princess Alexandra National Park, and the marine life there is amazing! We had the pleasure of attending the first weekly fish fry at The Bight Park, where local restaurants share their specialties. It is well worth attending, every Thursday evening.

My friends and I stayed at Gracemir in June of 2011. When we first arrived we clapped our hands and jumped around because it exceeded our expectations. We loved the hot tub, the big kitchen for cooking, the expanse of space inside and out- and the LOCATION is ideal. The house is not right on the beach, which to us was actually a plus. We enjoyed the quiet away from the rest of the tourists and could play music without bothering anyone. Recently I went back to Turks and Caicos but stayed elsewhere because the Gracemir was already booked. After seeing more of the island and other accommodations, I can tell you that this place is a great value and I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

great home and hotel alternative for family or couples

We (2) stayed at Gracemir during November and found it to be a great alternative to the Grace Bay hotels. It is exactly as depicted in the pictures, with the nice addition that the owners have just added a small pool off the large deck. It is 2 large bedrooms, each with its own bath, and separated by a living area and full kitchen. So, this is ideal if you have a family of 4, or 2 couples traveling together. It is a 5 min walk to Coco Bistro, but maybe 20 mins to the beach. You can walk to about 6 places to eat, but its too far to walk to the store (there are bikes provided). A car is a major plus for staying here. The island is fantastic and relaxing. The owners were very responsive to a few problems, namely internet access and the air conditioning (operator error!), and they seem genuinely committed to making your stay enjoyable.
Recommended for:  Families with Teenagers

It is less than 10 minutes to the beach by foot to the Grace Bay Club access but I know that having a car meant you were able to try different areas of Grace bay beach. Coco Bistro is only 3 doors down and a favorite place for many to go for a drink and an appetizer in the neighborhood.

Situated near one of the most beautiful beaches in the world

We recently had a wonderful vacation in the Turks and Caicos Islands and spent one week at Gracemir House. It is a lovely home situated on a hill-top surrounded by lush gardens and tropical flowers. The exterior of the home is fully tiled and provides for considerable opportunities for relaxing, barbequing or taking a dip in the hot tub. Inside the home is fully equipped with a kitchen, living/dining room area and separate bedrooms on each side of the house, each with it's own private bathroom. The beach is accessible nearby and is easily reached through a public entry point adjacent to the Royal West Indies Resort - parking available. There is abundant shopping and dining opportunities nearby, especially the Coco Bistro Restaurant which is located just around the corner from the house and provides for a wonderful dining experience. Gracemir House is located in a quiet and peaceful area where you can just drift off to sleep after a lovely day at the beach.
