Within walking distance is an 18 hole, par 72 golf course and winery. Enjoy golf in the morning and then walk to the winery to taste the very best in wine made in Hawaii. Within 5 minutes, visit Hawaii Volcano National Park. All this is 10 minutes from the rain forest, with trails inviting exploration of the rare and endangered plants and birds, and 25 minutes from Black Sand Beach where sea turtles nest.

According to the National Park Service website, this park displays the results of 70 million years of volcanism, migration, and evolution processes that thrust a bare land from the sea and clothed it with complex and unique ecosystems, and a distinct human culture.

The park encompasses 333,000 acres and ranges from sea level to the summit of the earth's most massive volcano, Mauna Loa at 13,677 feet. Kilauea, is the world's most active volcano.

We first visited the Big Island over 8 years ago and fell in love with the beautiful island. Up at the Volcano Golf and Country Club, you can relax and feel at peace with the surroundings.

Loved this location! Description was accurate and home/property was clean and well kept. My family and I enjoyed the spacious accommodations. We were able to sleep 8 comfortably! I highly recommend this home if you are travelling to Hawaii Volcano National Park!!! Great bang for your bucks!

Thank you for the wonderful vacation. The home was clean and nicely decorated. We loved how was close it was everything. The winery, golfing, and volcano were our favorite! Thanks again. We hope to able to make it again next year.
