We stayed at Sedona Grand starting March 28, 2015. Our travel party was 6 adults and 6 kids ages 8 to 17. (One set of grandparents, two sets of parents). This house is simply magnificent. The location is both secluded and close to activities, shopping, etc. The pool, hot tub, fire pit, were beautiful. Photos don't do the place justice. The views from the house and the pool of the red rocks are breathtaking. Everything was in good working order, and the management was responsive and helpful. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bedrooms are spacious, and the great room and living rooms are most comfortable. Lots of choices of seating for dinner both inside and out. The only very minor issue is that that the master bedroom could use better light controlling curtains if you like to sleep in as it would get fairly bright in there in the morning. Not a problem if you like to get up early. All in all this may have been the best house we have ever rented. We would go again without hesitation. Very highly recommended. PS There is much to do in Sedona for the outdoor enthusiast and this is the perfect home base for it. Rent jeeps at Barlows and go explore. Hike Devil's bridge and Bell Rock. Explore downtown. Golf at Oak Creek. So much fun, so little time.
The Sedona grand is set up perfectly for our family reunions. This was our second year here and we were so pleased to be back. The house has been remodeled nicely. We especially like having a bathroom for each bedroom and the updated kitchen features. Hanging by the pool, dining areas, kitchen and upstairs deck is fabulous. Breathtaking views from so many vantage points. Love the quiet neighborhood and proximity to hiking in town. The house is very clean and well stocked. Thanks Red Sedona for providing us with a most memorable chance to be together under one glorious roof. Love the little Quail families!
5 of 5 stars
First, the home is expensive to rent but worth it. Furnishings. layout of the home, exceptional kitchen, grill/gas firepit/pool/hot tub/well placed outdoor seating, etc. There are 4 master bedrooms upstairs - all Kings with their own bathrooms. The main master has a trundle twin bed set over to one side in the seating area. The first floor bedroom has two sets of twin trundle beds and a bathroom there that is shared with the rest of the first floor. The kitchen is well equipped including two ovens, two coffee makers (and grinder) and a wine refrigerator. There is a large pantry. Also, in the garage, there is another refrigerator that came in handy for sodas and water.
The views are from every window and are amazing. Not once did we tire of the view. We probably spent as much time outside in the hot tub/pool area as we did inside. Very comfortable.
The hiking in Sedona is vast and particularly pleasant in the earlier parts of the day before it gets too hot. This home is located far enough away from the cheap tourist shops (on the way to Oak Creek Canyon) to be perfect. Grocery stores are plentiful, so don't buy things in Phoenix or worry about that. The Pink Jeep Tours, ATV rental was worth it. All the hiking was excellent - bring sunscreen. Drive to Grand Canyon is about 2 hours.
You will need to bring soap bars and shampoo/conditioner.
We absolutely LOVED the house!!!! The online pictures were accurate; however, it could not prepare us for exactly how great this house is. We were a party of 6 adults and one 18 month old. There was plenty of room to spread out, yet at the same time, definitely be together. The house had 1 bedroom on the ground floor which was perfect, since one of us couldn't really negotiate the stairs too well. The rest of the bedrooms were on the 2nd floor (3 with King Beds and 1 with 2 day beds). The outdoor living was fantastic. We had great weather while we were there and definitely took advantage of the pool and spa. On some days, we simply lounged outside - truly the bluest skies we've seen in a while. The location on the west side of Sedona was convenient and heaven knows the country-side was gorgeous.
Our family of 9 (3 generations) stayed 7 nights at the Sedona Grand. Georgeous home, very spacious! Enjoyed the pool/patio/grill area. Great family time! Breathtaking views, sunrises, sunsets and starry nights!!! Quiet neighborhood. Conveniently located to downtown Sedona (lots of unique shops and eateries). Did a day trip to the Grand Canyon. Visited Williams and Jerome. Hiked to Devil's Bridge. Plenty of outdoor adventures. Some of us did white water rafting on lower Colorado River & others did the smooth water rafting on upper Colorado River. Some of us did the hot air balloon ride. All of us did the ATV tour. Just an AWESOME vacation!!! Already talking about coming back. Everyone we dealt with was very pleasant and helpful. Thank you Red!!!
Loved the house (great space for 8 adults to spread out and relax) and the outdoor amenities. We used the pool, hot tub, fire pit and outdoor seating day and night. More shooting stars than we could count! Great access to hiking trails and airport vortex directly adjacent to the property. Can't wait to return!
