Located just an hour's drive north of Sun Valley, situated on the headwaters of the Salmon River, Stanley serves as the gateway to the Frank Church Wilderness area and is the staging area for raft trips on the Middle Fork. World class hiking, biking, fishing and hunting are literally out the back door of the property.
Danner's serves as the perfect base camp for family renunions, retreats or weddings who are looking to enjoy the awesome beauty of the Sawtooth mountains, the Salmon River, the world class mountain biking and hiking and the water activities offered at nearby Redfish Lake.
We've stayed at Danner's Log Cabins many times, but this is the first time with the new owners. They are the greatest! You will find very clean, well-kept cabins. No phones or TV, but this is the norm in Stanley. Hey, you are in perhaps the most beautiful place in America--TV's would be a crime! You won't be dissapointed. P.S.: their web site shows very accurate pics of the interiors of the cabins.
