We are a retired couple who use our lake home as our second home, and hope our guest will do the same.
Steve Griffin purchased this house in 2004
We had a great time at the lake house! The view of Lake Butte des Morts was amazing, the neighborhood was fantastic for long walks, and the house comfortably accommodated myself, my husband, our 1 year old, and my in-laws. We enjoyed grilling on the deck, sitting around the bonfire, and exploring the greater Oshkosh area. Steve was wonderful to work with. He provided everything we needed and more for a great stay and returned our cleaning deposit days very quickly after our departure. I would absolutely recommend this property!
This vacation property has everything you could think of and more. We brought our boat and my husband was even able to change the lift to accommodate our boat! The house had everything you could ask for including a garage filled with tools and things needed for a lake property. The deck was wonderful with a full set of comfortable seating options. There are 2 bedrooms but our family of 6 was very comfortable and made it work because of the other many wonderful amenities. Fire Pit, Kayak, guest cottage, garage and pier/lift. These are obviously wonderful owners who want you to feel welcome. Thank you Steve!
My family and I had a great trip here. The house was clean and full of fun stuff to do.
My family and I spent a most enjoyable week at this wonderful home during the EAA convention. After a day at the airport we would return to BBQ and relax on the deck and in the living room. Beds were comfortable and the amenities provided made for a very enjoyable trip. Steve the owner was there to show us around and was a pleasure to work with. I would recommend this property to anyone who is going to stay in the Oshkosh area.
I spent a few days with my children and grandkids here and found it very clean and offered several things to use. The weather wasn't very cooperative but the kids made use of the kayak and row boat(fishing). We enjoyed campfires day and evening. We hope to return again next year, maybe later so we have warmer weather. Thanks Steve for working with my schedule.
My family and I came from Chicago to spend the 4th of July holiday at this Shangri-La in Wisconsin! Great house with wonderful hosts! Steve, one of the owners, was very friendly and extremely helpful in explaining everything to us. He also gave us great information about the surrounding area. (He reminds me a lot of my dad!) Very clean with all the amenities. Beautiful view of the water with a huge deck for outdoor meals with the family. The kids loved it! Fishing, swimming and evening bonfires...plenty to keep them busy. Close to town, good restaurants and shopping. And if rains, you can always check out the EAA Air Museum nearby. I highly recommend this property to people who want to get away from their busy lives for a while. Hoping to come back during the fall to watch the Bears beat the Packers in Green Bay again! GO BEARS GO!!!
