The 6000sq ft home is spacious yet oh so comfortable and relaxing. The three levels of large covered decks provide you with ample opportunity to find a quiet place and just take in the tranquility & enjoy the unbelievable views, not to mention a chuckle or two as you watch fellow golfers struggle in the same sand trap you encountered a couple of hours prior. Master bedroom has wrap around shower & large jet tub for soothing tied muscles after your round of golf. Elegance and comfort are a perfect blend in this featured “Parade of Homes” participant. It is located on the 20th hole & overlooks the 19th, 20th & 21st holes.

Sorry but we only rent to families and do not allow weddings, large parties or commercial activity of any type on the property.

In August, Paa-Ko Ridge Golf Club was ranked No. 28 on Golf magazine's 2008 list of the Top 100 Courses you can Play, moving up two spots from its 2006 ranking. Paa-Ko Ridge also is one of just 17 golf courses to be rated at five stars by the Golf Digest/Fodors Best Places to Play guide. Amenities are too numerous to mention but sampling would include a home theatre equipped with Bose audio, granite/marble throughout, outdoor Viking BBQ/outdoor refrigerator on the 2nd level deck, three hole putting green on site, exercise room with Olympic bench and full dumbbell rack & Schwinn air dyne bike, large garage with room for the largest of RV's, and recreation room with beautiful pool table, WiFi connection and Comcast TV on all three floors. This home provides the ultimate in golfing vacations with world class 27 hole course but equally enjoyable will be the sunrise vista's overlooking the Ortiz Mountains to the East and the amazing sunsets as the sun drops below the Sandia (watermelon in Spanish) mountains to the west.

Should you choose to visit the Land of Enchantment in the winter you will be delighted at the quality snow skiing available. Sandia Ski Area (Google Sandia Peak Ski) is within sight of our back porch and is but a short 20-minute drive to the 1st lift. Santa Fe Ski Area (Google Ski Santa Fe) is @ 1.5 hour, Los Alamos/Pajarito (Google Pajarito Ski) 2.0 hours and world class Taos (Google Ski Taos) is 3.0-hour drive away. With lifts opening at 9:00, all of these areas are worth the effort for a day trip. Taos is an amazing mountain for the accomplished skier. On a personal note I've skied through out the west and enjoy this mountain more than any other, it is fantastic. This luxury golf home easily converts to a hub for skiing adventure as you return each night to the remote control fireplace and thick carpet to warm you up.

Sandia Park, New Mexico, USA (20 minutes to Albuquerque in the mountains on golf course) -- This property is ideally situated 17 miles (20 minutes ) from Albuquerque and 45 miles (50 minutes) from Santa Fe traveling along the scenic Turquoise Trail. Sandia Park is a mountain community (7000 ft in elevation) suburb of Albuquerque. Paa-ko Ridge sits on the best golf course in the state on New Mexico and one of the top courses in the country. The Sandia Mountains provide beautiful views and skiing in the winter. In the old town of Madrid you can see where they filmed 'Wild Hogs' and eat at the Mine Shaft Restaurant.

Golf: Paa-ko Ridge 27-hole public golf course is situated just off our balcony, at elevations ranging from 6,500 to 7,000 feet. The layout of the course features landing areas and greens separated by arroyos, native vegetation, and rock outcroppings. Each hole in the upscale course has five sets of tees allowing play from 5,702 to 7,562 yards, and many of the holes play downhill through ponderosa, pinon and juniper. All holes feature spectacular high-desert and mountain views, strong golf-shot values and a serenity not often found anymore. We are thrilled to be one of the most award-winning public access courses ever to open in the U.S. We are even more thrilled when our visitors tell us their experience exceeded the hype

The Grille at Paa-Ko Ridge features a complete menu with offerings for breakfast, lunch, and casual dinner along with a full service bar for your favorite libation. Operating hours will vary with the season but will typically be from 7AM to 7PM. You may choose to sit inside surrounded by the Native American decor or sit outside on the patio and be awed by the breathtaking vista of the Sandia Mountains.

Amazing everything!

My group celebrated a wonderful, memorable Christmas in this magnificent home. There were 4 couples and 4 children (5 years of age and younger) for a total of 12 individuals. Each couple had their own private space including bedroom and bath yet there was still plenty of "together" space for everyone to share without tripping over each other. The home was perfectly suited our needs and provided all of our wants too. Jim answered my many questions and even personally delivered a live Christmas tree including decorations! The sleds left by others were also a nice plus. Thanks for providing the space for a great time!

Amazing house in beautiful location.

We stayed at the Paa Ko Ridge house with several extended family members of all ages. This house was able to accommodate all of us very comfortably. A good time was had by all. The house has everything and then some. The children were completely entertained on the lower level with the the movie room and the game room. The adults spent most of their time relaxing on the spacious patio, enjoying the scenic views. There was plenty of seating and the house is beautifully furnished throughout. The owner/property manager was very helpful from the time we first contacted him. I have already recommended this location to others and we hope to be back soon!

Yes, this house is awesome. The house, view, location, and golf course are even better than the photos. The location is perfect. We rented the house for a summer golf/hiking vacation. The house is convenient to all of the local activities: Santa Fe, Albuquerque, and the nearby parks.

I travel for a living. And I am very particular about hotels and rental homes. Take my advice and rent this home. Jim is the perfect host. He took care of everything and was always a call away. Everything was easy.

The kitchen is decked out with Viking appliances. The whole house is decked out. Everything is first class. There is plenty of room for everyone.

The view is incredible (during the day and night). It is peaceful, quiet and the perfect base for a New Mexico vacation.

I look forward to renting the house again.

We could have stayed longer!!

This house was absolutely incredible: Clean and spacious! Pictures were accurate, but in reality, the house was even more impressive. My siblings and I came together from Washington, California and Nevada to share a week and couldn't have chosen better accomodations... Jim, the property manager, was fabulous... Very responsive to all our questions / needs..... If we're ever back in New Mexico, there's no question..... we would stay at this house.. We highly recommend this house!!! Wish we could have stayed longer!!! Thanks to Jim for making it a great visit! :)
