This beautiful single house is located in Cranberry Crossing, an idyllic village of Mediterranean-style homes nestled along the 13th and 14th fairways of Fiddler Creek's Championship Golf Course.

Our home has over 2000 square feet of living space, plus a large, screened lanai and private pool. It is beautifully but comfortably furnished. It has a tiled kitchen with granite counter-tops. All of the essentials have been carefully chosen for you from linens to a fully-equipped laundry room. There is a two-car garage and outside parking.

Fiddler's Creek, described by Golf Week as an 'upscale golf community as impressive as any in the country,' is a private entity located on 4000 acres, the vast majority of which is preserves, parks, and other open space. With nearly 50 golf courses in the immediate area, the development is located in the heart of some of the best golf in the world. There is, however, much, much more to Fiddler's Creek.

The 54,000-square-foot club and spa at Fiddler's Creek, for instance, caters to every indulgence. Spa services include massages, facials, and full-day spa packages. The fitness facilities provide spinning, yoga, body sculpting, water aerobics, interval training, and Pilates classes, in addition to thousands of square feet of cardiovascular and weight-training equipment which can be used on an individual basis or with the assistance of on-site personal trainers.

Outside, the club and spa's centerpiece is a multi-pool lagoon complex with waterfalls, slides, a gazebo-shaded whirlpool, a children's pool, and a 400-foot boardwalk overlooking Fiddler's Creek lake. Pool-side beverage, towel, and sun lotion service is, of course, available, as is al fresco dining at the outdoor terrace. The adjoining tennis complex has professional instructors on staff. Membership Transfer ($500) to tenant required to ensure use of all amenities including Tennis and outstanding Championship Golf Course. OWNER WILL REIMBURSE MEMBERSHIP TRANSFER FEE FOR ANY THREE MONTH RENTAL.

Haute cuisine can be had at Caxambas, the new restaurant located inside the club and spa. Caxambas captures the 'Great Gatsby' era of the 1920s, having been modeled after the grand hotels and private clubs of the period. Executive chef Kenneth Gilbert, formerly of the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island, has created a spectacular series of menus for the restaurant.

Health and cooking seminars, arts and crafts classes, educational seminars, trips to the Naples Philharmonic Center for the Arts, sports outings, guided nature tours, wine tastings, themed parties, group travel, excursions to Key West and the Everglades, and fashion shows are all regular events organized at the club and spa as well.

Fiddler's Creek is minutes from world-class shopping - from outlet malls to Naples' famous Third Street South and Fifth Avenue South shopping district in the heart of Old Naples. It is less than five miles to the beaches at both Naples and Marco Island, including pristine Tigertail Beach. Should you wish to go fishing, or simply take a boat out among the 10,000 islands, the Intercoastal Waterway is less than two miles away, and the Isle of Capri, with its full-service marina and charter fishing opportunities, is barely three miles away.

We loved our stay at this beautiful home.The street looks like a scene from Hollywood.I especially enjoyed sitting out at the pool and watching the wild life go by and just enjoying the tranquility.Fiddler's Creek spa was within walking distance and we went there almost everyday to enjoy the pool,the food and the many events;comedy show, st patrick's party and went to see the Boston Red Sox on the scheduled trip.Everyone we met were the best and the staff at Fiddlers couldn't be nicer or more helpful.We will miss the sun sets,trips to eat and walk at fifth avenue in old naples,Marco Island,Air Boat ride and touring the Everglades.You can do as much or as little as you wish in Paradise. As far as the home we lacked nothing and the owner treated us like family.It was a great vacation and hope to return again next year.

WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE

My husband and I found Fay's house at Fiddlers Creek Cranberry Crossing to be a wonderful place to stay. It was a last-minute decision to rent, and Fay was very accommodating and helpful with the last-minute arrangements. We were very happy with the comfort, convenience, and efficiency of the home. It was especially wonderful to sit outside for every meal under the large outside ceiling that provided shade and plenty of room for having company. The pool was fabulous, just the right size, and it was great to be able to control the temperature of the pool. The pictures in the listing were very accurate and the décor was beautiful and comfortable. The property was very clean and easy to maintain. We appreciated the close proximity to Marco Island and the Isle of Capri, where we found many delicious restaurants to dine at. We enjoyed both The Gator Grill at poolside and the more formal restaurant at the Club. Our entire experience was
much more than we anticipated, we were sorry to leave, and we would definitely recommend this property to our family and friends.

NICE BUT BETTER PROPERTIES IN FIDDLERS CREEK

We rented this home for the month during the 2013 holiday season. Fiddler's Creek is a first-rate community with many features on property or nearby for an active lifestyle. The photos of this home are accurate. There is only one sofa and one chair in the living area. If you need to seat more than 3 people to watch television, they need to sit at the kitchen table or on the bar stools. The outdoor patio is large but the furniture is covered with black and green mold. You had to cover it with a towel if you wanted to use it. The mattress on the bed in the master bedroom is so high that the owner purchased a step stool for climbing in and out of bed. The optimal word here is climb. It was ridiculous. The refrigerator stopped working while we were there. The owner wanted us to find a repair service and schedule a time to meet our needs. For the amount of rent paid for the month of December the owner should have a property manager that takes care of these things. I don't want to spend my vacation time finding appliance repair centers and waiting for repairmen to show up. We left on January 12. By March 3rd I had not heard from the owner regarding our deposit. I emailed her to inquire. She did not respond to my email. Two weeks later I received a check in the mail for less than half of the deposit. No note or explanation was included. I emailed the owner twice asking for an itemization of the charges without response. It is clear that the owner purchased this property as an investment and wants the rental income to help cover the expenses but she doesn't want the responsibility or expense that comes with being a landlord. Bottom line, there are much better homes for rent in Fiddlers Creek and specifically in Cranberry Crossing.

Owner's Response: The refrigerator
1. I had provided an appliance repair telephone number for the renter to arrange for the repair at their convenience and my cost.
2. The issue was actually not an issue as this is the way the fridge works -- part of the freezer doesn't freeze completely for ice cream

There is only one sofa and one chair in the living area.
1. Actually there is also a chaise and ottoman in the living room that the renters took out to the lanai and they became moldy.
2. There are also 4 dining chairs in the same area and other chairs in the den if many people are watching television.

The deposit
1. I provided explanations several times via emails and I was awaiting the tenants acknowledgment of these deductions from the deposit; the lease stipulated that the deposit would be reduced by the amount of utility bills over $225 (average utility bills for this time of year) for the period. They were $200 over this as there were 7 people who were in the unit. The cleaning costs were $25 more than the amount the tenant paid (also in the lease as a potential deduction from deposit) as the house was left in a state that required extra cleaning.
2. I also held back another $150 to cover the cleaning of the stains on the carpet and on the ottoman as they left it outside during their stay.

The rent
1. The rent does not cover my costs that are considerably more than the monthly rent.
2. This is a house and the tenants had 7 people over Christmas and New Years. The rate I charged is much less than anything comparable in another Fiddlers home or resort/hotel/bed & breakfast.

1. I provide numbers for these types of situations for tenants to be able to get repairs done at their convenience and my cost

BEAUTIFUL HOME

Our vacation exceeded our expectation. The home is beautiful, clean, comfortable and adequately equipped. Fiddler's Creek is notable for its lush and well groomed landscaping which is refreshing scenery for walking. Our one to two hour walks seemed much shorter, given the visual beauty. The transfer fee for the spa proved to be well worth the extra money. The home is located just a little more than five minutes to Marco Island's gorgeous beach. The owner, Fay, was ever ready to answer our questions. The only time we needed to call her was our difficulty getting the DVD to play and Fay worked with us over the phone until the problem was solved. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family.
