Welcome to our cozy get-away in the pines! We are surrounded by beautiful trees, wildlife and amazing views. Come relax and enjoy the outdoors or take advantage of all of the near-by amenities. Check out seasonal golf, tennis or swimming at the Continental Country Club, amazing skiing at Snow Bowl, kid-friendly activities at the Bear Paw, hiking, sledding, shopping in downtown Flagstaff or day trips to Sedona, Grand Canyon, Slide Rock, Oak Creek Canyon, Polar Express and much more.

Enjoy views from the spacious deck or watch the kids play in the snow from the large windows in the living room. In the summer months, the cool breezes can't be beat. The stars at night are unbelievable and it is not unusual to spot a family of Elk.

After a long day, you'll want to warm up by the fireplace and enjoy watching a movie on one of our flat screen tv's or bring your computer and catch up on emails with our free wifi. The kids can play games, do puzzles or read books that are provided for you during your stay.

Our place has a vintage charm and cozy warmth that will make you feel right at home. The master bedroom provides plenty of high-quality linens and fluffy pillows on a comfortable, queen-size bed. The second bedroom is perfect for a kid's retreat or could be used by a second couple. Equipped with a flat screen tv and a twin over full bunk-bed, this room is very comfortable. There is also a pull-out bed for an extra child if necessary.

***Guest passes must be purchased by tenants for access to the Bear Paw and CCC pool and work out facilities.

About Joy

We love Flagstaff and wanted to give our kids the chance to play in the snow, learn to ski and also escape the hot temperatures in the summer. We have loved using our second home to enjoy the outdoors and spend quality time as a family. Without the distractions of home, we find the time to play games with the kids, check out the stars, and just enjoy nature and relax with the slower pace of a small town.

My husband, father, and I spent our spring vacation in Flagstaff, and this cottage could not have been any more perfect! It's very clean and spacious and has everything you could ask for in a rental unit. The location is in a perfect area of Flagstaff, close to the interstate, historic downtown, groceries, and fuel. Joy is a pleasure to work with. We plan to return to Flagstaff on a future visit and will definitely stay here again and recommend the cottage to others visiting the area. After experiencing the amazing sites of northern Arizona, be sure to hit downtown and check out the Beaver Street Brewery and Lumber Yard Brewery for good food and great microbrews as well as Thunder Mountain for authentic Navajo and Hopi crafted jewelry. NAU Graduation Weekend

We came to beautiful Flagstaff for NAU Graduation weekend to find this cozy cottage was perfect for our visit! It was only a few exits up from the NAU campus but far enough away from noise and traffic. Everything we needed was close by. We literally walked across the street to the driving range and golf course! The cottage was very clean and spacious. We made family dinners a few times, watched a few movies by the fireplace, and had our coffee out on the deck in the mornings before heading out to Historic Downtown Flag with its great sights, shops, restaurants and walking. This was a wonderful weekend spent celebrating with Family. Thank you to Joy for being available for our questions. The home was exactly what we hoped for and would recommend this Home Away from Home to everyone visiting in Flagstaff!

Clean Two Bedroom perfect for our small family and the Grandparents

The rental is very clean, no carpet which is great. I am picky so this worked out nice for me. My parents stayed in the master while my family stayed in the kids room, Dad, Mom, and three year old, perfect! So many videos for us to watch (be kind rewind!) and games to play, my kid loved it. Rental is easy on/off of 40 and 89 so you can get anywhere easily. Grocery store right up the road so you can make dinner. I recommend Miz Zip's on 66. Best breakfast and great pie!

We had everything we needed, except soaps and shampoo. Since I read other reviews, I planned ahead. I prefer my own anyways;)

Joy was very responsive and replied to all emails quickly. Thank you for a great place to stay in!

Our stay was one of leisure. Staying here in the Flagstaff area enabled us to go to several different areas to include the Grand Canyon and Sedona, with a couple of places in between. The town house was conveniently located not far from I- 40, and was within 10-15 mins to all sorts of restaurants, services and stores. Joy was always a quick email or phone call away, and very pleasant to work with.

Nice owner with great communication, great price, nice clean place. Make sure to bring bar soap and shampoo though because no toiletries are provided. Being used to hotels I forgot to ask about that! I'd definitely stay there again.
