WEDDING PARTIES: We do not have the ability to host weddings on the premises. There are many nearby venues that can, and we are happy to be your home base.
This spectacular estate on 33 acres is an amazing place for celebrating family events. The 4500 square foot home, extensively remodeled in the summer of 2010, features 5 bedrooms and 5 1/2 baths comfortably sleeping 12. The outdoor facilities include an immense travertine pool deck & outdoor kitchen, Bocce Ball courtyard and Wine Cave, tennis court, garden areas, terraced olive groves, 2 acre lake with sand beach, 6 acre vineyard and 12 acres of woods. A thrilling 100' water slide leads from the pool level to the water-trampoline in the lake.
Concierge service for the property is provided by Concierge of the Valley. Services include planning of wine tours, arranging chefs and child care, travel planning and more. One hour of complimentary service is included.
From the property there is ready access to dozens of local wineries, local restaurants and shopping from Costco to the boutiques around the Sonoma Square.
Outdoor activities available on the property keep kids and adults busy. The 5000 square foot travertine pool deck includes a 24x60 salt water pool and a massive custom hot tub. A large gas fire-pit is a great place to spend the early evening hours. The outdoor kitchen and dining area provide cooking facilities and dining space for 16-40+ people. The lower courtyard contains a Bocce Ball court and provides access to the Wine Cave. The asphalt tennis court is complete with a club-quality ball machine, and also has 2 high-quality basketball backboards. The 2 acre lake offers a sand beach, with paddleboards, a kayak and a rowboat. A screened-in gazebo on a small peninsula is a great place to escape on warm nights.
The lower level of the house is designed for entertaining with an elegant, open floor plan. The kitchen, dining room, living room and game nook all provide stunning views, highlighted by an enormous picture window looking out over the pool deck, lake and vineyard. Original knotty pine flooring planks run throughout the house, accented by Brazilian Cherry in the higher traffic areas.
A gourmet kitchen features beautiful granite countertops, including a massive 6'x8' island seating four and a 10' buffet/bar counter seating three more. A commercial Wolf stove, with griddle, and a separate Miele oven provide restaurant-grade cooking capability. Beautiful cherry cabinetry conceals the other high-end built-in appliances.
A heavy wood table in the dining room can seat 6-14 comfortably for casual dining or an elegant repast. The adjoining Living Room enjoys sweeping pool, lake and vineyard views through a dramatic picture window. When the sun goes down, a 55' HDTV above the fireplace offers satellite TV, DVD and Internet services. The game nook seats 4-6 around an elegant purpose-built game table.
The Game Room offers ping-pong, foosball and air hockey, and can be converted to a 'movie room' by pulling down the 10' screen and turning on the projector. The connected Exercise Room opens onto the Pool Deck and offers free weights and a health-club style universal machine. A full bath serves the exercise room and pool deck. The Billiard Room hosts a drop-pocket 8' table and is decorated with prints depicting historical homes and the development of Sonoma County. A 46' HDTV and fireplace make this a great hangout.
The Downstairs Master Bedroom features a luxurious king bed, private balcony and fireplace. The Master Bath is elegantly finished in a soft travertine.
A laundry room, pantry and guest bath complete the downstairs.
Upstairs sleeping accommodations include four bedrooms and a loft. The Upstairs Master Bedroom offers a queen bed and an oversized box-bay window delivering fantastic morning light and peaceful vineyard views, along with a 46' HDTV and DVD player. The Master Bath offers a claw-foot tub, shower and dual sinks. The Upstairs Guest Bedroom also has a queen bed and has a full bath with shower and single sink. The 'Office' features a great 'Murphy Bed' with a REAL queen mattress. This room can double as a work area by folding the murphy bed up. A loft area sits at the top of the stairs and is a great little reading spot or escape, above the Living Room. The last room upstairs is the 'Kids Room', a gigantic room with a queen and 2 twin beds, half a dozen cushy bean-bags, a 46' HDTV, DVD Player and Wii. Guess who will end up there?

Use of this property is governed by the Sonoma County Vacation Rental Ordinance. The complete ordinance is available from the Sonoma County Permit and Resource Management District, a link is provided below the 'Rate Details'. This ordinance applies to all vacation rentals in the county. Key provisions include the following:
- A maximum of 12 overnight guests. Children under the age of 3 are not included in this limit.
- A maximum of 18 guests on the property at any time, except for Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas when the limit is 35.
- Special events (weddings and other large gatherings) which exceed these limits require a Use Permit which we do not have.
- No amplified music outdoors at any time, and quiet hours from 10PM to 9 AM.
