Nationally known authors have stayed for weeks at a time and found Ada's Cottage to be a delightful and inspiring place. Many of our guest claim Ada's Cottage has a creative energy. Our clientele are always delighted with the comfortable atmospher and the conveniene of the location. The cottage is located just minutes from downtown Blowing Rocks wonderful restaurants, bistro and Pubs. Shopping is within minutes with many unique shops and the Tanger Outles shopping center is located nearby. Sunsets are spectacular from the deck off the Living Room. Enjoy the rock wall gardens in spring with Rhodendrons, Iris and many other Perinnels in the garden. Comments from clients have said it was a feeling of living in a tree house. Other activities that you can enjoy are Price Lake on the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad, Gem Mining, hiking, biking, ZipLine and many other outdoor activities for the entire family.

About Lonnie Webster

I am Ada Webster, owner of Ada's Cottage and Advanced Realty in Boone, NC and have been a Realtor in North Carolina since 1976. I have lived in Blowing Rock since 1990 and western North Carolina since 1972 and my husband, Lonnie and I have been married over 46 years. Since we live nearby Lonnie is able to take care of any problems that may arise at Ada's Cottage. We enjoy everyone that has visited our cottage and have been happy that we have many repeat clients. We appreciate the fact that everyone that visits make positive comments and refer friends back to us. When you rent our cottage, our hope is you are not only a guest, but will become our friends.

Outstanding place to stay. Immaculately kept, fully equipped, convenient to everything, great view from the deck. The only thing was the horrible weather which no one could help! Just like home, only cleaner! Would definitely recommend to anyone going to Blowing Rock! We will be back many more times, I hope! Just all around better than any motel we have ever stayed at!

great time during a record hot week!

My wife and I and my 7 year old son stayed during 4th of July week - great place for our family - son stayed in downstairs bedroom, and wife and I stayed in upstairs bedroom - perfect size for us - great owners, who live very near by - linens and towels furnished - yard is big enough and flat enough to practice golf (with wiffle practice balls, mind you!) - wifi works well - we definitely plan to stay there again!
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Nice cozy place close to everything.

Excellent price. Nice people, smooth transaction. The place is loaded with anything you might need. We went for a ski trip but due to weather conditions ski and tubing places closed so we stayed at the cottage more than initially expected, however, we felt like at home. Highly recommend this place, it is close to everything in town yet very quiet and peaceful outside.
