Guestbook comments from the owner
It has been a great pleasure to stay in your beautiful casita! It has everything one could possibly want for a few days away. The house is enchanting and the garden is delightful - we particularly enjoyed the seating area by the pond; just watching the fish - listening to the waterfall is so relaxing!! Thank you for everything - hopefully one day we will be back.

wonderful location-delightful space

  • 5 of 5
This antique-filled little cottage is perfect for the single traveler or for a couple. Bill and Joseph have made sure that everything one would need is easily at hand. The location is perfect for exploring Albuquerque as well as for easy access to I-25 and I-40, the major north/south and east/west highways, leading to the possibility for wonderful day trips. I could not have been happier with any accommodation for my 6 day stay.

Excellent place to stay...

  • 5 of 5
I had a great visit to ABQ staying at La Casita. Great location, comfy, and well-attended to. It had all the amenities of home and the owners are exceptionally nice and accommodating. I would highly recommend a stay at La Casita anytime you plan to visit ABQ.

Great Cozy Historic Cottage close to Old Town

  • 5 of 5
This cottage was the perfect place for our extended vacation in Albuquerque, New Mexico and the surrounding area. It was great to walk to Old Town for shopping or dinner or to enjoy the plaza area which had alot going on the week of Balloon Fiesta. It was convenient for the Park N Ride to Balloon Fiesta also. Our favorite place in Old Town was Church Street Cafe. We enjoyed coming back after a full day of sightseeing to relax inside or outside by the pond. The cottage had plenty of room for us and was unique in decor. We were able to prepare simple meals as well since there is a local store just blocks away. The owners take excellent personal care of the cottage. If you need anything, they will take care of it. We thank Bill & Joseph for sharing this Casita with those of us who prefer more than a hotel. We have already recommended the Casita to our friends.

Saved my sanity!

  • 5 of 5
This sweet little house and its owners completely saved my sanity. I rented it for two weeks while I was readying my own home for lease, and it was such a pleasure to return to this casita each night. The sheets were silky smooth, the linens and towels changed regularly, everything about it was peaceful and gracious. A full kitchen meant I was able to cook whatever meals I wanted. The owners are wonderfully helpful. I treasured my time there. If I could move into this place forever, I would. Stay here. You'll love it.

Exceptional hosts and charming atmosphere

  • 5 of 5
A 'home' away from home can make all the difference in one's experience and La Casita contributed so much to my time in Albuquerque. The location was terrific - Passing through the neighborhood behind the house, there's a wonderful park with ponds - and access to a bike trail along the canal. And the house itself! the gardens! such creative use of available space - inside, the paintings, the furnishings, the general decor and details were so interesting, and extremely comfortable. Joseph and Bill were accommodating and always helpful. I'd love to stay again sometime and will certainly recommend La Casita to others.
