Surroundings:
The wild romantic region makes a painterly impression, even in winter, due to the tropical palm trees and terraces of olive groves. The surrounding hills are dotted with other beautiful mediaeval towns. Tourism in this region tends to be discrete, the coast not having any large hotels. The Province of Imperia is known for its mild climate, not reaching freezing in winter and not too hot in summer. In January/February the almond trees and mimosas begin to bloom everywhere. In the apartment, guests will find material containing more information about the region and guide books as well. At the sandy beach, visitors can rent sun umbrellas, deck chairs and boats. Changing rooms are also available. The street connecting Civezza to the coast takes 5-7 minutes by car. The Mediterranean water is very clean and warm enough for swimming until the end of October. Hiking trails around Civezza lead through the campagna (countryside) or high up into the mountains to other villages and trattorias.
