What makes this apartment unique

We love the space and privacy that Villa Camilla gives us as well as the short walk -- 1 minute -- across our property to the Grace Bay Beach with the most popular snorkeling just next door. The villa is set among 6 acres of tropical gardens and we have 325' of beachfront at our doorstep! We always feel that the stretch of beach in front of Villa Camilla is reserved only for us and for guests even though all beaches on Provo are public.

We love wandering through the garden seeing what's in bloom at the moment-- wild orchids, beach plum, cactuses, different palms. And because of the greenery around us, we're a magnet for birds, including humming birds. Each night at sunset you'll find us up on the deck marveling at the beautiful, ever changing sky while sipping our favorite rum punch. Be sure to ask for the recipe!

Breakfast and lunch on the deck are wonderful, but nothing compares to watching the sunset from the west desk with rum punch in hand! Then if we're not cooking that night, it's off to one of Provo's many excellent restaurants, none more than a 5-10 minute drive away.

The water is really clear, and the reefs are very alive. You'll see stingrays and all kinds of fish. The island has trade winds, so you can do downwind paddling. It has mangroves, so you can get protection from the wind to do flat-water paddling. It's a really versatile area.'

My wife and I loved the guest house. Perfect location and distance from the beach offering privacy and easy beach access. We used Grand Slam for deep sea fishing and Island Vibes for snorkeling. Great experiences.

Incredible views and location in a private setting on Grace Bay.

My wife and I rented the lower guest house over the holidays and had a fantastic stay. We hope to come back again someday. The pictures online were honest and do a great job of showing you what to expect. We were not disappointed. The living area, bedroom, and bathroom were the perfect size for us. The kitchen was also well appointed. The best part of the guest house is the deck. We enjoyed eating meals outside and enjoying the sunsets with a cold rum punch in hand. The location is far enough from the road so that there is very little noise from cars, and set back enough from the beach so that it is very private. The owners and the caretaker Charlene were very helpful with suggestions for things to do and places to eat out. I would recommend the lower guest house for couples who want to be on the beach with a great view but shy away from big resorts and prefer to self cater.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway

We had an amazing time. You have a wonderful piece of property in a fantastic location. The upper-level guest house was perfect. We had everything we needed And the view! Stunned by the Spectacular Beauty of the View

The lower-level guest house was great. We felt that the photos and the description had given us an accurate sense of the apartment and its surroundings. We were stunned by the spectacular beauty of the view - what a treat. It was extremely helpful to be able to borrow the portable crib. We also thought Charlene was fantastic. She was very attentive and provided excellent information. Thanks again for your advice on car rental, etc. as we prepared for our trip.

Perfect private hideaway

The upper guest house at Villa Camilla is an excellent place for those seeking privacy. Although the interior is somewhat dated, it is clean and everything works well. It sits back about 100 yards from the beach which was virtually empty. Great for snorkeling too. A car rental is needed to get to the grocery store which is a quick 5 minute drive. We were fortunate to have the owners staying at the main house during our stay and they both very helpful with any questions we had. The property manager was accessible too for help. The only bad thing that one could say was next to the villas property there is a hotel that has been left unfinished but is well screened by trees. Yes you can see it if you look far to the right but when you look straight ahead all you see beautiful light blue water. It' s still worth staying here and we'd definitely come back. Our daughter loved the loft bed area too.
