Lodge, 5 Bedrooms, 3.5 Baths, (Sleeps 10)

Beautifully appointed, spacious lodge style home within upscale Yonahlossee Resort, minutes from both Blowing Rock and Boone. Two gourmet restaurants just outside the gates--Crestwood and The Gamekeeper. Plenty of room for family and friends in this 5 BR/3.5 BA grand mountain lodge. Soaring ceilings and massive stone fireplace in great room. Chef's kitchen with double ovens, propane cook top, ample prep space and counters/cabinets. Main level master has views and deck access and deluxe bath with spa tub and shower plus private sitting room. Downstairs offers 4 addtional bedrooms plus spacious den with second stone fireplace. Lovely views toward Grandfather and beyond, spacious decks on both levels as well as main level screened porch. Yonahlossee Resort is centrally located between Boone and Blowing Rock, and a short drive to all the area's amenities including Price Lake, hiking trails, Grandfather Mountain, Foscoe and Banner Elk ski areas. Paved parking for 3 vehicles, 4WD necessary for winter weather access. Winter sunsets are gorgeous here!

Our family stay at the Horner House was excellent and the overall experience was very very good. The house is in perfect condition, very clean and well maintained, the kitchen is large and perfect for big families. The location is fantastic in the mountains close to Blowing Rock and we highly recommend the two restaurants on the resort property. Thank you to the owner for allowing us to stay in their beautiful appointed house, we highly recommend this property and we are sure to go back one day.
