FALL IS BEAUTIFUL AT DEEP CREEK LAKE - BOOK NOW BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE.

My brother, sister and I, our spouses and my parents spent the weekend at the lake house to celebrate our parents’ 65th wedding anniversary. We had planned to cook and eat in Friday night, and go out Saturday night and for Sunday brunch, but we ended up eating in for all our meals because the house was so comfortable and relaxing. The early season snowfall added to the cozy atmosphere, and we watched the inches accumulate outside from the comfort of the great room while the gas fireplace warmed us. The house was very clean, and more than roomy enough for eight adults. Having a bedroom/bathroom on the first floor was perfect for my parents, who didn’t have to negotiate any steps. The downstairs game room was a hit with the guys, and Nancy was attentive by e-mail to my questions prior to our arrival, and made herself available by cell phone if we needed her during our stay (we didn’t). All in all, it was a great weekend, and we wouldn’t hesitate to rent the house again.

My family and a friends family stayed at this beautiful home for three nights. We had ten people in total and it was beyond spacious. The home was very clean with a gorgeous view of the lake from the great room which has a beautiful stone gas fireplace, sectional sofa and a flat screen TV. The home has been very well maintained by the owner, extremely clean, everything works and provides plenty of light during the day and at night (lots of lights). The dining table is huge (seats 10) which is rare for a vacation home and the kitchen is spacious and well equipped. It also has a three season screened room adjacent to the kitchen which would be great during the summer should bugs be an issue. There was a nice Weber (not some cheap unusable grill most vacation home have) gas grill for BBQ's on the deck. The upstairs has a nice room with TV and a big bathroom with buil-in shower and Jacuzzi tub. It also has a loft area with pull-out bed. The basement has a gorgeous Brunswick pool table and a shuffle board which our children enjoyed. It also has two additional bedrooms, bathroom, bar, gas fireplace and double sliding glass doors which leads to the lakeside below the main deck leading to the dock down the steps. The upper outdoor deck is beyond big which also leads to the dock below via steps and landscaping lights. The dock could probably accomodate four small boats and was a great spot for finshing as we caught a dozen or so small/medium Walleyes and Rock bass. The parking lot accomodates many cars so that is a plus. Overall plenty of space for twelve people even though we had ten and the location is the best part. Beckman's peninsula is very close to everything as it's in the middle of the lake. Arrowhead market is a five minute drive over the bridge along with Uno's, Honi Honi Bar, gas station and the creamery which serves amazing ice cream (were there three times). Wisp is only 15 minute drive. Nancy the owner is very responsive to e-mails and I did not even have to speak to her one time during our transaction. We hope to be back another day and would stay here in a heart beat.

With 6 adults and 5 kids we had plenty of room! The house was very clean upon arrival. Our families had wonderful meals cooked in the cozy kitchen. We enjoyed fires in the evening (we brought our own fire ring and used the driveway) and playing pool and shuffle board. We had many activities that kept us busy. The Swallow Falls is HIGHLY recommended! Breathtaking and beautiful! We also went to Wisp one day to ride the coaster....kids and adults loved! Kids loved swimming and fishing right off the dock!

Overall wonderful getaway and plenty to do! We would recommend to anyone!
