We are conveniently located in Whistler Village North which is walking distance to all that Whistler has to offer; shopping, restaurants, ski lift, hiking trails, etc. Park your car, as you are in the hub of Whistler!
Living area has natural rock gas fireplace, private deck, high 20 foot vaulted ceilings. TV, VCR, DVD, stereo, FREE wireless internet. Beautiful view of Whistler and the surrounding mountains from living room and deck.
Open concept dining/living/kitchen area seating for four at dining table with four bar stools at adjacent kitchen nook. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, cookware, microwave, full size fridge, stove dishwasher, coffee maker, blender, crock pot, etc. Private full size washer and dryer in-suite.
One bedroom with queen bed (new pillow top mattress) and en-suite bathroom. Loft with bunk bed (double bed on the bottom, single bed on top). One new queen pull out sofa bed in the living room. Fresh linens supplied for seven people.
Complimentary housekeeping upon check in. Complimentary mid-stay cleaning for booking of 8 nights or more.
Common area hot tub and dip pool open all year.
Free secured underground parking - our reserved parking stall and unit are close to the elevator for easy loading and unloading. Secured ski, board and bike storage.
This was our fifth stay in Whistler, but our first time with VRBO. We were very happy with our choice. The condo is fabulous, our son loved staying up in the loft. It is tastefully decorated and has all the necessary furnishings. The hot tub and pool were great too. The location is fantastic: we walked to everything from restaurants to even the ski lifts. The only reason why I gave four and not five stars is because the bedroom is on the back side of the building, facing the main street and there was a lot of beeping noise from the snow plows when we were there, and they start at 5am! The owners were very nice and easy to work with. We would definitely go back.
This was a great location for a family, right on the outskirts of the main village, but still withing steps of all the excitement. Chidren's playfround right outside your front door. The views were beautiful and the owners were very accesible and accomodation. We look forward to booking again with them next year.
Overall our stay was good, but there are some improvements that could be made. The condo was not as clean as I would have expected upon our arrival. The floors were a bit dirty. Also, the towels and wash clothes were VERY dingy and looked like they had not even been washed. One even still had obvious signs of women's make-up and some were so stained they looked like cleaning clothes rather than wash clothes. Overall, all the linens (towels, bedding, etc.) could be upgraded and this would make a HUGE differece to the overall experience!
Other than that we really liked this place. The owners were VERY friendly and helpful. The decor (other than bedding) was very nice and gave it the "Whistler" feel you want. The locations is good - at the end of the village stroll but still close enough to walk every where in the village. Overall a good experience.
Great location, close to supermarket, restaurants and a leisurely walk to ski lifts. Away from the noise of the main village. Well maintained, clean and good range of kitchen items. Owners easy to contact and very helpful before and during our stay. Would happily recommend to friends and would come back again. Great meals at Earls, Carrumba and Indian restaurant in Marketplace.
