Robert Cemovich is a local attorney in town. We moved to Venice about 9 years ago after several years living abroad. One visit to Venice Island and strolling the main street community convinced us this was home. We returned to living in our condo the last 2 years with our 3 teenage kids awaiting the completion of our new home on Venice Island in the Golden Beach neighborhood. After spending our 4th annual Christmas with extended family at Aldea Mar, they have convinced us not to sell our unit but to hold on to this unit. You will enjoy living here as much as we hate to move away.
Our vacation rental turned into a permanent home. Coming from the Midwest, one look of the main street community of Venice Island created an immediate home like feeling. As my husband reminds our children, you will look back on your childhood and say I had the best time growing up in this small beach town.
Drinking my coffee in the morning viewing the banyan tree
Listening to the palm trees rustle in the wind
Watching the sunset until 9:00pm in the summer months
Taking a walk on the beach
Riding my bike along the beach and hooking onto the legacy trail
Going to the theatre in Sarasota
Being able to host 25 people for Christmas dinner in my cono.
