Enjoy the large front porch and relax in one of the rocking chairs or enjoy dinner on the wrought iron table as the sun sets. Beautiful Crab Creek lies below you in the front yard. Walk down to the creek and relax on the bench beside the creek or just dangle your feet off the bridge and remember days gone by.

We are a middle aged hard working couple that have a passion for enjoying riding our equine companions and getting away from our extremely busy daily lives.
We started riding horses at DuPont State Forest several years ago. We always trailered up to Hendersonville and would go home the same day. We started looking for somewhere to spend the night or weekend that had equine boarding facilities and always came home disappointed. We then began looking for something close to DuPont and Pisgah that was affordable for a middle income family that would be suitable for short term horse boarding. Luckily, we found this place in 2008. However, it was not in very good shape. After slowly remodeling it for 2 years it is now just perfect for us and our horses. Hendersonville and the surrounding area also offers a lot of activities that can be enjoyed when we are not riding horses or hiking the many trails. We have been amazed at all the activities and wonderful restuarants in the area. Downtown Hendersonville has activities year round.
It is truly for the nature lover. It is completely rustic and decorated with the equine enthusiast in mind. It is only 4 miles from DuPont and is 15 minutes from downtown Hendersonville. It is one of the few places that accommodates the horse and the rider.
SunCrest Cabin has a large front porch that is made for relaxation. After a long day out on the many trails or shopping the many antique shops in Flat Rock or Hendersonville you can sit on the porch and listen to the peaceful sound of the stream in the front yard.
