We just got home and I wanted to write a review while the trip was still on my mind. We had the best week in this home and would have no reservations whatsoever about staying there again. There was a tropical storm in the area when we arrived, so it rained the whole first day we were there. The owners not only called to check in and make sure we were ok, they also came over and brought games and puzzles for our children. You will not find many owners as concerned about their guests as these two. They are great! My Husband and I vacationed with my Parents, our four Children (ages 6,7,13 and 16) and our oldest Daughter's 16 year old friend.There was more than enough room for everyone. The three younger kids loved the bunk room and pretty much stayed there or in the pool The two older girls enjoyed the third King room with their own full bathroom. The pool, from what I could see, is roughly the same size as other pools in the neighborhood, but there is also a great neighborhood pool. We had two adults and four kids in the pool at the house at the same time playing a game and there was plenty of room to have fun. There is also an alarm on the back door that you can set to go off if the door is opened. When you have small children, that is a huge bonus. The house is so close to the beach. We compared it to staying in a condo (waiting for an elevator, riding the elevator down, walking all the way down a boardwalk and finally arriving at the beach) and the house, by far, is so much closer and more convenient. You are literally on the sand at the private beach in five minutes. You just can't get that in a high rise building. We loved the kitchen and spent lots of time there cooking. The family room was very large and accomodated our whole crew during our "down time". All of the furnishings were lovely and the granite countertops throughout were certainly a bonus. There was nothing we needed that this house didn't have. I highly recommend this property and would give more stars if I could!
