My boyfriend and I stayed in the Yellow Condo this past weekend and it was absolutely lovely. It is a studio so if you're travelling with a child and prefer a little privacy, I wouldn't recommend it since it's so open, but for us it was perfect. I couldn't believe the gorgeous view of the lake from nearly every window in the place. It was so much better than any hotel I've ever been in and Ralph was a pleasure to work with. The area is so quiet you'd never know you're only about 3 tenths of a mile from Central Avenue and Walmart. It's truly the perfect location.
The biggest perks were the fact that the area is very quiet, there's covered parking, and no set check in/check out time.
The only complaints I have aren't really even complaints... More like a "heads up" for future renters. The listing says the kitchen is stocked with supplies but I wasn't sure what that really meant. There wasn't a napkin or paper towel to be found in the cottage so for our first meal we used wash cloths as napkins until we could get to Walmart for a roll of paper towels. There wasn't any dish soap so I just left our dirty dishes on the counter which I felt badly about. Since I cooked nearly every meal there I did have to wash a couple pans and knives to re-use but I had to use hand soap to do it. The pump on the hand soap in the kitchen did not work either so I had to take the lid off and pour it out.
As far as supplies go, there was plenty of flatware and dishes, but only one old spatula with rounded edges. If I'd had one flat spatula and one rubber spatula that would've been helpful. I also would've liked a can of cooking spray. I cooked 5 meals there and other than those very minor complaints, the kitchen really did have everything we needed.
Truly, the very very minor complaints about kitchen supplies are the ONLY negative things I could find about this place. I'll absolutely stay there again and recommend it to everyone I know.
Thanks for such a great weekend! =)

Thank you for your kind words. I'm so sorry about the shortage of supplies. That was my fault. This will not happen again. We hope you will come back.
