Mike and I welcome you to our vacation home. We both grew up fairly close to the ocean and have developed a deep love for the sea. For many years, I have traveled to Charleston annually to visit a software vendor. After a while, I encouraged Mike to visit. Needless-to-say, we both fell in love with the Charleston area. The combination of history, culture and natural beauty is unique and amazing! Suzanne
Mike and I chose South Carolina because of the temperate climate. We also wanted a real city with lots to do year round. We chose Mount Pleasant specifically because it is central to everything we enjoy in the Charleston area. We are within 4 miles of the beach, 8 miles from downtown Charleston and about the same distance from the international airport. Access to Charleston's beautiful county parks and plantations is also quite convenient. Suzanne
We enjoy our home's private setting. The patios are completely private and the wooded property affords pretty views from any window. The house is well laid out and features a huge beautiful fireplace which we enjoy often as soon as the weather turns a little nippy. Suzanne
Our property is centrally located to all there is to see and do in the Charleston area. Boone Hall Plantation is less than 1/4 mile away, the beach at Isle of Palms is just over the connector, Shem Creek and kayaking is less then 5 miles away and downtown Charleston is 8 miles away, over the beautiful Ravenal Bridge!
