magical museum is yours for your holiday home

We love the Alsace of France but this year took one step further into the Black Forest for the second week of our self catering summer holiday.
How we discovered Angelika's lovingly kept and presented farmhouse we will never know - but we saw it on their website and booked a week that was to be filled with such sweet memories and magical moments - I will never forget our arrival and being shown around the building, every room making our eyes widen and jaws drop further.
The photographs don't even do it justice - and they are beautiful anyway! In spite of rainy weather, we always managed to enjoy the house, every single day and felt so lucky to have the place to ourselves, its peace, its beauty and its unspoilt historical character.
To enjoy this holiday home you will need to prepare yourselves to accept the challenge to forget all modern conveniences, ways of cooking and keeping warm. Even if it looks very old, everything here works!
Nearby St. Georgen town will provide your basic needs and from here you can journey easily by train or bus, using the free guest card. Or, you can read and relax and look at the wonderful countryside and views, listen to the running spring water and just enjoy how lucky you are to have found the place.
