Directly at the historic centre of Vence (2 minute walk), in quiet location (dead end), not far away from the city wall, the old houses full of character, “La Fontaine Vieille” and “Villa Louisa” are situated. The small town of Vence and its equally known neighbour Saint-Paul de Vence lie in a delightful hilly landscape to the west of Nice (about 18 km). The Mediterranean beaches at Cagnes-sur-Mer are 9 km distant. The old town of Vence with its snail-shell shaped and arranged houses, the partly conserved city wall, the castle and the former palace are likely to be visited. There is a great choice of shops, restaurants and markets in the historical, Provencal old town. A sight is the rose chapel of Matisse. Vence is said to be an artists village, which gives a special flair to the times peaceful, times lively atmosphere.

“Rousseau” is a luxury apartment (approx. 70 m² plus 10 m² balcony) with panoramic view from all rooms. It has a living-dining room with fully equipped kitchen (e.g. Miele dishwasher, espresso machine etc.). It also features a Mediterranean living area, a large bedroom (2 x 1.8 m bed) with parquet floor and built in closet. There is another small room with extendable couch (2 x 1.4 m) as well as a separate toilet. Furthermore it borders a bathroom with large shower (glass partition), washstand, toilet and urinal. The balcony bordering the living area has a pretty distant view of the Baou mountains and view of the old town of Vence. Occupancy 4 people maximum.
