Directly at the historic centre of Vence (2 minute walk), in quiet location (dead end), not far away from the city wall, the old houses full of character, “La Fontaine Vieille” and “Villa Louisa” are situated. The small town of Vence and its equally known neighbour Saint-Paul de Vence lie in a delightful hilly landscape to the west of Nice (about 18 km). The Mediterranean beaches at Cagnes-sur-Mer are 9 km distant. The old town of Vence with its snail-shell shaped and arranged houses, the partly conserved city wall, the castle and the former palace are likely to be visited. There is a great choice of shops, restaurants and markets in the historical, Provencal old town. A sight is the rose chapel of Matisse. Vence is said to be an artists village, which gives a special flair to the times peaceful, times lively atmosphere.

„Monet“ is a charming holiday apartment on the ground floor (rez de jarding), (approx. 38 m² plus 15 m² terrace). It features a large Provencal eat-in kitchen, terrace with acces to the garden and view of the Matisse chapel, bathroom with shower, toilet and bedroom (2 x 1.6 m bed). There is floor heating in the eat-in kitchen and the bathroom. An occupancy of 2 adults is perfect. The kitchen is completely equipped with 4 gas hotplates, microwave with grill, espresso machine, coffee machine and electronic kettle.
