Condo, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2)

You're on vacation so time doesn’t matter, but you’re glad you set the coffee maker the night before. You wake to the smell of coffee, which causes you to rise, electing to grab a cup and move to the balcony. Sitting there you marvel at the incredible colors as the sun appears to climb up out of the beautiful blue waters into the sky.

Rested and fully awake now you elect to take a run on the beach for a great workout. Stepping on the beach you notice the crowd fishing off the end of the Sunglow Pier which you saw at sunrise from the balcony. Turning north for your run you’re enjoying this uniquely packed sand and remember those stories of the Daytona 500 races on the beach in the 50’s. After running 2 miles you see “The Shores” a five star spa treatment that you plan to enjoy during your stay. Reversing your course you arrive back home in time to see Mike setting up his hot dog stand; you make a mental note to see him soon.

Now the big decision of the day, do I take a beach chair and take advantage of the shade beneath the pier with the waves crashing at my feet, or simply head to the pool and enjoy the spa while stretching out on the supplied lounge chairs. Whatever you decide make sure you take money for a Hot Dog and a Coke.

After a nice shower it’s time to think about dinner, you have 12 seafood restaurants within 4 miles most on the inter-coastal waterway and a short walk. You decide on a 6 mile ride to the Lighthouse Café at Ponce Inlet, home to the second tallest Lighthouse in the nation; remember to plan a day to walk all 197 steps to the top one day. My favorite menu item is fish and foil with a Corona while looking out over the water and a setting sun. Returning back home to the condo, relaxing on leather couch and confee chairs, you now have a choice, do we head to Publix 2 miles away and rent a Blockbuster movie for $1 to be viewed on the wall mounted flat screen with a built-in DVD player or take a quiet walk on the beach. You decide on a walk tonight and vow to pick up a movie on your way to dinner tomorrow. Exhausted, now heading to bed, you stop and program the coffee maker to start it all over again tomorrow.

I went with my 9 year old son for the Memorial Day weekend, and stayed two nights. The condo layout was perfect and had all the amenities that we needed. We especially enjoyed the balcony and the view of the beach. The pool and the hot tub at the condo complex was my son's favorite place. It is a very comfortable condo, perfect for two, and I hope to visit it again in the near future!!!!

We had a great time. The condo was in excellent condition, with a beautiful beach view. Best place we've stayed in Daytona area. The Owner was great to deal with as well.

Wonderful condo!

My husband and I stayed in this condo for 5 nights. Everything in this unit is upscale from the shower to the bed pillows to the granite coutertops! Loved the raised sink in the bathroom and the leather couch in the living room! Nice touch of a morning of Starbucks coffee provided! Resort is clean and the pool area is wonderful. Loved staying so close to Crabby Joe's restaurant and the Sunglow Pier. We hope to visit again sometime. Thanks for everything.

We enjoyed this condo and this area sooooo much, we truly didnt want to leave, but all good things must end. Thanks so much Andy and Lynn for shareing this wonderful condo with us. Just big enough for the two of us. We had our morning and evening coffee watching all of the beauty of the ocean, from sunrise to sunset. Its all just as you see in the photos. Loved the condo . . . owner was very accommodating. Unit was very clean . . . sunrise was amazing. Updated unit with new appliances, countertops, linen, etc. Could not have asked for a more comfortable and pleasant weekend! Close to shopping and restaurants.
