The house at 41 Easton Street is bright and open with wonderful views of nature conservation area that makes you feel as though you are surrounded by acres of land instead of being just minutes from town and the ferry docks. The four bedroom house is done in light summery colors and tries to maintain some of the original cozy feeling of old Nantucket cottages near the beach. A Widow's Walk on the roof has expansive views of the harbor and the island.
There is a large master bedroom with a king bed and a large master bath with two sinks, a shower and a tub. It has its own porch overlooking the conservation area and water views. Another corner double bedroom on the second floor has a private bath and views of ferrys and sailboats coming into the harbor. Two other comfortable corner twin bedrooms share a bath with a tub/shower.
A living room with a fireplace on the first floor is large and open with large windows looking out on the conservation land. The living room opens into a lovely dining room with French doors that lead out onto a porch. The kitchen is next to the dining room and is fully equipped with microwave, coffee maker, toaster, mixer, etc. and enough plates, glasses and silverware for entertaining. Just off the front hall is a den/television room and adjacent to a powder room.
The house has a front porch for early morning cups of coffee while watching walker/joggers go by. The house also has a back porch with a dining table overlooking the conservation area and the back yard. A tool shed has a few bikes and all kinds of equipment. Two kayaks live under the main house. The cottage out back is cozy but not usually available to renters. Luckily a walk to the beach and the harbor is only a few minutes away and town is an easy stroll. Brant Point Lighthouse is right down the street. The White Elephant Chateau and Relais is a stones throw across the street and Jetties Beach is very nearby.
A wonderful house for family and friends to enjoy the joys of Summer and even into the Fall.

41 Easton Street is owned by 4 siblings who spent their summers growing up in Nantucket. Since they all loved Nantucket, the beaches, the fishing, the sailing, the swimming and the wonderful clean sea air, they wanted to have a house for
all their children to get to know Nantucket. So far the young treasure their days in Nantucket and love spending time with their cousins.
The Owner purchased this house in 2000
