Indian Brook Hotel Rental Photos and Description
1 large area, a deck, a firesite with picnic table.
The Yurt, the Yurt or Ger is a kind of Mongolian-styled structure, comparable to a First Nations Tipi, used by nomadic peoples, it was originally made of felt and furs. Now, after being westernized by folks from Oregon and British Columbia, it is transformed to be:Complete with windows looking out on the lake, Atlantic Ocean & Bird Islands,16.5 feet in diameter, equipped with a skylight,an interior that has beds and conveniences (minus electricity and plumbing, but you’re near the Lodge).
The Tipi, you're in the same kind of Tipi as Kevin Costner in Dancing with the Wolves.Sitting around a wooden platform floor, the base diameter of the tipi is 22 feet. A hearty canvas covers 27-foot-long spruce poles, which were cut, skinned and smoothed by the draw knives of the Cabot Shores family. While sleeping on mats is possible, twin and queen-size beds are available for “deluxe” comfort seekers (or for those of us with old or sore bones!).There is a fire-pit just outside the door, facing the ocean, for cooking or bonfires. Bathrooms and showers are just around.

Guestbook comments from the owner
We discovered Cabot Shores by luck and we've been extremely surprised by the positive and friendly atmosphere here. We decided to sleep in a yurt for a night and it was just MAGIC!
We had to go rapidly this morning and couldn't say goodbye, sorry! We will definitely send good waves from Paris and spread the word that there is a bit of paradise here!
