Cute little house. We were a large group of friends so twin plaza worked well with so many bedrooms. Downstairs bedroom convenient for complete privacy from guests in upstairs area. Lovely back yard area. Heating worked well which is not always the case with San Francisco homes! Yeah! We needed a couple of things and called the management and they had the items there within a couple hours. Overall we were all very happy with our experience.
I stayed with five other adults for a long weekend in San Francisco. We had two couples and two singles. The four bedroom arrangement was perfect! The house was beautiful, great views of the hillside and if you looked down the street from the stoop you could see the bay.
One group arrive on an early flight and walked in on the housekeeper. She was very nice and accommodating to allow them to drop their bags so they could see the city. The house was very clean. The bathroom on the main floor was beautiful with a heated floor which was very appreciated in the chill of July in San Francisco!
We all enjoyed making breakfast together everyday before we headed out for our daily adventure! The kitchen was the perfect size for two people to cook. The dining room was wonderful for six adults to sit and eat.
From the house we were about a three block walk to the Muni stop which took us down to the bay area. We had several great dinners in the Castro. My favorite was a sushi dinner at Barracuda.
We made a couple of stops at Molly Stones to get groceries for breakfast. If you spent over $30 at the store they shuttled you home. That was a wonderful service.
One day we walked over to Haight-Ashbury then on to Golden Gate Park. It was about a 20 minute walk from the house. Due to the wonderful location of the house we didn't find it necessary to rent a car or take a taxi to get around San Francisco.
It was a wonderful location in a great house! I would love to find an excuse to get back to San Fran and stay here again! We made many wonderful memories. It was a great time!
Fell in love with the house the minute we stepped inside! It was extremely clean, and everything was as described. The only downfall was the dishwasher wasnt working, but other than that everything was fab!
This flat is set in a fabulous, very central location. Staying in this neighborhood gives visitors a unique feel for how locals live in San Francisco. A couple blocks away is market St & Castro Street with its fabulous restaurants, bars, stores and coffee shops. Within strolling distance is the Haight Ashbury neighborhood, which was the epicenter of the hippie culture and retains a certain charisma to this day, Castro and Mission Districts and Golden Gate Park with famous museums and fun outdoor activities.
