Nice place for the money

This is a nice apartment for the price. It is nothing fancy but has all of the amenities that we needed and it was nice to have workable sized kitchen and also a living room to relax in separately from the bedrooms. We did have a few issues during our stay (incorrect internet password given, we blew a fuse and had no hot water, etc) but the owner was quick to respond and helped resolved all problems. It isn't super close to London but we had no problem getting into the city. It certainly was closer to a 15 minute trip than 40 minutes (depending on where we went). I enjoyed all the shops and restaurants in the area and it was a nice walk to the Metro. My girls said the bunk bed mattresses were uncomfortable but for a few nights stay, it worked out okay.

Great location!

Although smaller than anticipated, the apartment was just what we needed. Very clean with everything provided. The proximity to the train station was a huge plus as we travelled all over England by train. Minutes from London and all the sights. Information provided by the owner was helpful and accurate. We were on the top floor, so be sure you can manage stairs with luggage and young children. Only problem we encountered was other residents coming and going slamming doors, and one night we heard noise from a possible party in the apartment below us until 2am. Would stay here again!

Adequate London Suburb Accommodations

This two bedroom apartment is located in a quiet working class London suburb. The best things about the apartment are the newer furnishings, its free parking and the relative proximity to the West Croydon London Overground which takes about 40 minutes to get to the heart of London (not 12 minutes). There were some minor minuses - the bathroom door did not close easily and some of the hinges on other doors were noisy which would sometimes wake our 2 year old. Also, there was a little confusion when we arrived getting the keys from the key box, although the caretaker was very responsive when we called telling him the keys were not in the box as we had been told. Overall, it was a good place based on the proximity to the London transportation network and a place to park the car for free with adequate accommodations for the price (which was cheaper than alot of other options).

Owner's Response: The time to Victoria or London bridge stations in Central London is 12-15 Minutes. The guest went to a further away train station (West Croydon) instead of the reccommended train station (East Croydon). We wish the guest had informed us while here, so we would have informed them and they would have had faster journeys.
