We are retired high school teachers who live in Tallahassee, FL and love to travel, both within the US and abroad. We have one son and daughter-in-law and one daughter and son-in-law who have given us four wonderful grandchildren. They all live near us, so we are happy to stay in Tallahassee as well as travel. We have been married almost 44 years and retired from teaching in 2003. When we travel, we rent almost exclusively through VRBO and have been very pleased with all of our choices.
We both love country music and went to Nashville for the first time to celebrate our 41st wedding anniversary. We fell in love with the city and all the action and decided we would enjoy owning a place there.
We enjoy the privacy that a condo provides, as opposed to a hotel room. We enjoy being able to eat breakfast without going out, and like to cook some. HOWEVER, for the most part, we find that we enjoy eating out! The condo is safe and is close to Vanderbilt, as well as the country music scene. It is an easy walk to Bridgestone Arena and all the local bars.
