A private single family residence of 4300 square feet under roof and 2800 square feet of air conditioned area. One short block to beach access to Tampa Bay. Executive Island home, located directly on beautiful and desirable Bimini Bay. Wonderful waterfront views of open water and large private yachts at Galati's Marina. Located on a three home cul-de-sac, a large and uniquely private lot. This is not a canal home, there are no neighbors behind you, just open water located directly on Bimini Bay with direct boat access to the open waters of Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. Enjoy the wonderful variety of wildlife here. Heavy tropical vegetation on both sides, provide privacy, peaceful, romantic, and stress releasing days and evenings. Three sets of French doors open to a screened back porch with three paddle fans providing a sunny bug free dining area, or relaxing cocktails in the evenings and waterfront views. Each of the three main bedrooms have three panel french doors with built in blinds, each opening onto a screened or open deck / balcony. This is our home away from home, and is certainly everything except your everyday run of the mill rental. If you want to feel like a million dollars on your vacation, please consider our home.

About Steve McInturff, Owner

My wife and I have been married now for 37 years. We enjoy many outdoor activities. I fell in love with the water many years ago, and actually bought my first boat while working part time in college. While I enjoy hunting, I especially enjoy saltwater fishing. We also enjoy quiet time on the water, calm evenings at idle speed, watching and waiting for that beautiful sunset. We are members of the Gasparilla Krewe of Venus. We have a lot of fun throughout the year, at Krewe events as well as the many parades in which our Krewe is involved.

Why Steve McInturff, Owner chose Anna Maria

My wife and I first visited Anna Maria Island in the mid 1980's. We immediately fell in love with the charm of the island, the soft white sugar sand beaches, clear and colorful water, friendly locals, quaint shops, casual restaurants,and overall island lifestyle. We made many visits to Anna Maria over the years, hoping that someday we would be able to buy a home there. That hope came true in 1998, and we have enjoyed ourselves and our time on the island immensely. Being unable to use our home as frequently as we would like, we have decided to offer our home as a vacation rental and we hope that our quests will enjoy their time there as much as we have.

What makes this house unique

It seems that the world stops when we are there. The everyday pressures we all face in life, on our jobs, and daily struggles seem to disappear. Life just slows down, and we start to appreciate more the gift of life, and the joys and rewards that our hard work and dedication has provided us. The sun, the water, the happy smiles of people we meet, just seem to take us to another internal place.

Best vacation yet!

This was our first visit to Anna Maria and the first time we have brought our boat on vacation. The verdict is unanimous--best vacation yet! Honestly, the whole family is ready to relocate.

The property: Big, clean, comfortable. We're picky and this house does not disappoint. Plenty of room inside and out--more than we needed, but we enjoyed it--a larger group would be very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. Plenty of room in the driveway for cars + the boat trailer. The setting is private and has great views of Bimini bay from the dock and beautiful boats at Galati Yachts. We have 7 year old twins and we spent hours fishing off the dock.

Anna Maria and surrounding area: The island is everything we were expecting. As I mentioned we brought our boat with us. The 12,000 lb boat lift which was one of the primary reasons we selected this property. I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed having the boat at the ready--we used it every day for a different adventure. Sitting anchored on the gulf side of Egmont in crystal clear water is simply a different world. Running down to Mar Vista on Longboat for an early dinner and having multiple dolphin sightings within a few hundred yards of the restaurant pretty nice too. If you have a boat--bring it!

The owners: Steve was extremely helpful and knowledgable. Our boating experience had been exclusively inland lakes. Steve was very helpful in answering my questions about coastal boating as we prepared. Much appreciated!

Great property, great owner, great area--we'll be back!

Fabulous Long Weekend

This was a wonderful place for a "girls' weekend with ladies ranging in age from mid twenties to mid eighties. It was spacious, beautiful, and quiet with everything we could have possibly wanted for cooking, eating, bathing, relaxing, etc., etc. The elevator was very helpful in getting luggage to and from the house. We were close to restaurants, shops, the beach; but in a very quiet location with no evidence anyone else was nearby. The water view of the boats was peaceful and relaxing. Everyone had a wonderful time and we would love to make this house our yearly getaway!

Beating the winter blues, to relax at Anna Maria Island

Steve,

It was great to have a two week reprieve in Florida to escape the winter in Pittsburgh.

For a week, two of our children and their families plus my daughter's in-laws were able to join us. My grandchildren, almost 9 mo. and almost 3 years enjoyed watching the blue herons swallow the fish I caught from the dock. We all enjoyed walking and bike riding on the island. The weather was beautiful (70's and 80's). it only rained one day. We were also able to take in two Pirate games in Bradenton.

The location of your home made it very private for our family. The bay was a short walk across the road and the Gulf was a short drive. We ate a the Sandbar restaurant on the island and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend it. Using the elevator was a great way to move suitcases and belongings to and from the house. Well thought of! This vacation was part of my "Bucket List" to see the Pirates in Bradenton. I can cross it off my list, but we do hope to visit Anna Maria Island again some day. Your home was a wonderful place to stay.

More than expected

Loved this place! It was beautiful, private and had a little something for everyone in our party. We had age ranging from 19 to 75 and all kinds of weather. Almost every day was spent fishing, on the beach, shopping or reading. Truly a perfect vacation. So much space in the house gave us all a lot of individual privacy or gathering for dinners. We were able to eat some of the fresh fish caught the same day :) Anna Marie Island is so adorable! The restaurants nearby were very good. People were very friendly. White sandy beaches were gorgeous. I can only hope we get to go next year! The owners were also great.

Extended Weekend

We came across this gem with a Google search. It appears too good to be true and the reviews reflect that but.......

It is true and worth every penny. The location is perfect whether you have a boat or just want to relax. More TVs than a sports bar and just a beautiful house all round. It's very private but still easy access to anywhere on the island. The dock is large and our 21' dingy fit like a glove. Fishing is excellent right off the dock and both Bay and Gulf access is great. Dining and the bay side beach is a short walk away. Gulf beach is a little father but an easy walk/ bike ride on a lightly traveled streets. Bring the family or just close friends. Once you arrive, no need to leave the island. Everything is here.

OK, there's the hype. Now the thanks.

Steve, we had a GREAT TIME and can't thank you enough for sharing your home. The bird life was unbelievable wherever we went. The sunset cruises beyond colorful and your neighbors just good folks! Nice tarpon and for me it's been 14 years since I've had a snook encounter. The macs were everywhere in the Bay and just a hoot on ultralight tackle. Taking the neighbors "skiing" on their Hewes was priceless and we're glad we could help. Our time was short and we had to cram a lot of enjoyment in a small window but that was OK because we're coming back for an extended stay. Thanks again and tell Smokey and his charming wife,"Hey" when you see them.

A Great Find!

We were so glad that we found your home in our search for a place to gather with our family for my son's wedding at the Sandbar. It could not have suited our needs better! The home itself is a "wow" and the property is truly one of a kind! We felt like we were on our own private island when we sat out back in those wonderful Adirondack chairs or down at the dock -- what a view! And there is a beautiful view from each and every window, too!

Your home is beautiful and gave us plenty of space for family dinners. The screened in porch is an amazing extension of the living/dining area! And I must say that the elevator was a huge help in getting luggage and food up to the 2nd and 3rd floors -- that's a real bonus!

After searching literally dozens of homes for rent on the island, we know we found the perfect one in 523 Seagull Way! Thanks for all of your assistance!
