Exquisite designer-inspired Palm Springs-area private pool home retreat is now available for occasional vacation rentals to a select few. Located on one floor with no steps, over 3,000 square feet of imported Italian marble provide the initial backdrop for this recently-completed (Summer 2010). A huge formal front living area provides top-end Empire style furnishings, soaring cathedral ceilings, gas-lit fireplace for cool desert evenings, two halogen lit ceiling fans, amazing entry area, and dining area for four. Beyond, visitors will find a cook's dream kitchen with lots of space, center island, and designer grade stainless steel appliances. Eat at the kitchen counter bar or in the adjacent open family room area which shares a second dining space for six shared with a den equipped with sofa and 55' flat panel LCD television (fully viewable from all kitchen areas) and CD/stereo. French doors lead to outside area with spectacular saltwater PebbleTech Pool/Spa.

State-of-the-art fully comprehensive security system including both 'stay' and 'away' arming options;
Basic and expanded HD cable television services, plus ShowTime features;
High-speed Internet, with wireless broadcast throughout the property;
No-key access coded front door entrance; and
Pool services are provided twice weekly by our personal handyman who is also available by cellphone for any maintenance issue arising.
Other Items You Need to Know: This is our second home and not exclusively utilized as a rental.
Our home is fully available during the Palm Springs peak season of December 1st through May 15th, and is additionally available for select periods only from May 16th through November 30th.
Guests are asked to place all trash curbside on Wednesdays if a Wednesday stay is incorporated.
Our home provides a comprehensive security system. Guests will be provided access codes for the system.
Front door entry is gained through the use of numerical punch in codes to programmed in and provided to guests; no keys are required; guests will be provided with their own issued code 10 days prior to arrival.
Additional housekeeping during the period of rental is also available on request at a cost to be borne by guests from our trusted personal housekeeper.
Notes about Rates, Other Costs and Fees: Flexibility is provided as to check in and check out days and times.
Rates will be individually negotiated based on our desire to wish for no more than four persons during any rental. Additional persons exceeding this number MAY be considered at a supplemental cost, and discounts will be offered for rentals of only two persons. Substantial discounts will be considered for long-term guests wishing to stay for periods of 60 days or more.
Rates will include all costs except for a (1) supplemental per-visit fee (based on total duration of stay) for guests wishing for the pool and spa to be heated, (2) a final cleaning fee upon departure, (3) any other discretionary expenses incurred by rentals including pay-per-view movie fees, and (4) deductions for any damages if any.
Our home is located in the North Cathedral City area, just one mile south of the Doral Desert Princess complex. In a quiet no-noise residential area, our home is nonetheless a short five minute drive from PSP airport and is less than 15 minutes from the hustle and bustle and award-winning restaurants and nightlife of downtown Palm Springs. Relatively close and easy access to Interstate 10 provides for short, hassle-free travel to other desert communities of Palm Desert, Indian Wells and Bermuda Dunes. Rancho Mirage is also easily accessible within two miles via local streets. Located in a quiet residential area, we enjoy a location at the very end of a quiet cul-de-sac with no adjacent home on one side.
