We recently returned from a 10 day stay at this property. We were a party of 4 adults and 2 children. The property suited our needs. Certainly the place could use some updating, but that didn't detract from our enjoyment of our stay. The property mostly met our standards of cleanliness, except for the floors which were very dirty. We found food on the floor when we arrived and I did wash the floors. The washing rag soon became extremely dirty. This did not ruin our stay, but it took two washings before the floors were clean. I contacted Hazel and she offered to have housekeeping come and clean them, but by then they were clean. The kitchen needed a bit of extra attention as well. The carpets were clean and the bathrooms were clean. We found staff friendly and helpful. As reported the pool was cold. The area was nice and very well kept. We did go down and play on the grassy area with the children and dip our feet in the pool. The night we arrived we took a cab to the Walmart to get supplies. It had a good selection of groceries, but does not have a full selection of fruits and vegetables or fresh meat if you were interested in using the BBQ's at the pool area. For those supplies we went to The Food Pantry (2370 Kuhio) which was no more than a 10 minute walk. $6.00 cab ride home if you have too many groceries to carry. We found the apartment totally accessible to the beach, shopping and restaurants. We spent most days at the beach, walking through Fort Derussy Park. It was a 10 minute walk, walking quickly pushing a double stroller. We often came home for lunch and a rest and it was easy to do. We usually went out for supper to child friendly restaurants within walking distance: Hard Rock Cafe, Cheesecake Factory (very busy), Cheeseburger Waikiki and surprisingly Jimmy Buffett's Restaurant. (It had a children's menu and we were there early so it was fine for the kids.) We also went out for a nice adult supper (1 couple at a time) to Ocean House in the Outrigger Reef Hotel. This is on the beach with sunset views and close to the condo. I made reservations for oceanfront seats about 2 weeks ahead of time. We walked to the zoo one morning which was very easy to do. Probably about a 20 minute walk. We also booked an excursion through the desk at the hotel to visit Sea Life Park. If you are looking at this property you know that 3 bedrooms are hard to find. The pros outweighed the cons and I would stay again.
We loved this rental, the pictures showed it perfectly. The closeness to the beach, stores and restraunts was all in walking distance and very well marked. The staff at the valet were execellent and very helpful. It was so nice to have 3 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms so everyone had there own. Would definitely stay there on next trip.
Unit was very good. Perfect size for our family. We were 6 people and my 1yr old daughter. It was nice that everyone had their own bathroom. Location is great, within walking distance to all the restaurants and shops and the beach as well. Décor is a little dated, but nonetheless it was overall a great unit. It did get hot at times when the breeze wasn't as strong, but 95% of the time the breeze and fresh air felt amazing.
If u need 3 bdr w/ 3 bath and want to stay together then this condo will suffice. Must know no front desk, no housekeeping, no media room access, we wanted to checkin early and print boarding passes on departing flight, but couldn't. Will need extra towels; only 2 per room. Be ready to flush toilets at least 3x after use. Even then still flush before use if don't want to see anything. Located on end of shopping strip.
We rented this for our 4 teenagers while we had a small condo on the 19th floor.
Very large and well laid out.
The unit was clean and well equipped, comfy beds lovely bathrooms.
Found the advertising to be truthful.
One small issue, couldn't find any information as to where the a/c control was located.

I found the apartment to be just as shown in the photos and agree with previous reviews that it does need updating. Having said that we found it very comfortable and it suited our needs.It is very close to the main hub of Waikki which was great because we had so many resturants to choose from. We Loved the balconies. During the hot evenings we did not need to use the air conditioning as we were able to open up the windows and let the cool breeze in. The property was clean, but as we were there for nine days it would have been nice to have a supply of fresh linen at day four and a clean considering the money we paid to stay there. The hotel staff were very friendly and accomodating. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to family and friends
