10-15 minutes walk to Astoria Park located near the river. There is a public swimming pool, track field, and a nice view of Manhattan.

10 minutes to Yankee stadium , 10 minutes to Citi Field and 15 minutes to Bronx zoo.

10 minutes walk to Steinway St and 1 block away from Broadway Ave where there are plenty of diverse restaurants, outdoor/indoor cafes, shopping centers, nightclubs, and plenty more stores!

Quiet and comfortable

I recent stayed here on a 5 day trip away from sunny California. The stay here was very comfortable, the neighborhood was nice and quiet. The apartment was clean and cozy. It's perfect for people of any age. There are plenty of great places to eat within walking distance. The train into manhattan is also brief walk up broadway. The owner is very nice and extremely accommodating. If you want to avoid the insane prices of hotels in manhattan this is a great place to stay.

we spend the new year at this apartment The apartment was very nice and new.. The owner was ready to answer any questions on the apartment and the surrounding area. close to subway stations, cafes and grocery stores. The owner was very helpful and provided lots of information about local things to do, and it only took 10 minutes by subway to get to Manhattan. We enjoyed the stay I'd definitely stay there again!

Great accommodation close to shops and subway/buses

We stayed at this apartment in Astoria in August/September and it was fantastic. Perfect for our needs - near the shops and near our daughter's house. The apartment is well equipped, clean and quiet. The biggest plus is Moustafa, the owner. He goes out of his way to help and make sure you are settled in an always available to answer questions.

Would definitely recommend this accommodation to others and will book again when we are next in NYC.

Just fantastic

We have stayed in this apartment before and it has not changed, just brilliant. Spotless, perfect, with everything you need, in a great area with all amenities you could want and a short hop to Manhatten or out Long Island. We got caught by Hurricane Sandy so were delayed 3 days Moustafa simply said do not worry stay as long you need, I will tell you when the next booking is arriving. When it came to payment for the extra days the charge was so low I doubt it covered his costs. On top of this when I was having trouble finding a functioning Currency exchange again he said do not worry we will sort it out. I have already booked for my next trip.

Great Value for A New York Trip

We stayed in this apartment for 6 nights the end of September 2012. The owner is very hospitable, and helpful if needed. The apartment is clean and looks just like advertised. Like everyone else says it is only a 1/2 mile walk to the train, and a short 10 minute ride to Manhattan. If you order Chinese while there we had Halal's Chinese delivered (it was a great price, and good food), and if you order Pizza we had Dino's Pizza and Pasta (it was also a great price, and good as well). We loved our stay, and will stay here again if we ever visit New York in the future.
