Photos and Description of the Monchiero vacation chateau / country house rental

The Casa Bertoloni was a nice vineyard earlier. The villa is located in the heart of Langhe in Monchiero, not far from Barolo and Monforte d'Alba where a few of the best Barolo wines come from. The Ligurian Sea can be comfortably reached in a one hour drive. A spacious, well-kept park with a pool surrounds the house. You can do whatever you want here. A small vineyard where the Vino della Casa is made also belongs here. The 5 bedrooms are spacious and furnished with stylish furniture. Both bathrooms on the top floor have a WC/shower. On the ground floor, there is a service room with WC/shower and a washing machine. Those who would like to be alone can retreat in the library. In the large salon/living room with an arched ceiling you will feel like you are in an Italian Palazzo. The eat-in kitchen has a lot of space and is equipped with all comforts. The villa is beautifully furnished and fulfils high quality standards.

Monchiero is located in the heart of Langhe and is about 5 km from Barolo and Moforte d'Alba. By car it is about 20 minutes to Alba. From the villa Bertoloni to the city centre of Monchiero it is 1 km. There are shopping facilities in the city for your daily needs. There is a bakery with groceries, a butcher, a pharmacy, a bank, a pizzeria, a vineyard and a very well-kept restaurant with regional specialties. In Dogliani, which is 3 km away, you will find a new shopping centre. On every week day there is a weekly market in Langhe. The most famous and largest market in Alba occurs every Saturday morning.
