If you're looking for a quiet, charming getaway in the amazing neighborhood of Hollywood Hills, then look no more. After sightseeing in Hollywood, or Los Angeles, come back to your little oasis...take the curved brick stairway to you private home away from home. You can take advantage of your full kitchen, which has everything you will need to make amazing meals, or try one of of the hundreds of gourmet restaurants within a short drive. Your guesthouse is surrounded by trees, greenery, and flowers. Even though this 450 square foot property is listed as a studio, it is laid out like a one bedroom. The separate bedroom area has a super comfy queen bed and full bath.

We are located just down the street from Warner Bros., Disney Studios, and Universal Studios. The guesthouse shares the property with a great old 1936 Mediterranean home. Come and put your feet up and enjoy the trees, and the peace and quiet. Feel free to email me with any further questions. I'd be delighted to have you as my guest!

A really pleasant stay!

I stayed here for almost two weeks last summer. Kathleen is prompt, detailed, and helpful in her responses. There's no hassle involved in booking her place or moving in. She is quiet (lives above) and respected my privacy (I never had the opportunity to meet her). Her place is comfortable and a decent size for a rental in the area. Good light, powerful A/C, street parking always available. A super quiet neighborhood during both night and day. I would definitely rent from her again.

Great Location - Close to Everything!

My boyfriend and I recently stayed here and it truly is a Hidden Gem! It was wonderful to stay here. We had a lot of things on our list that we wanted to see and do and this guest house was a great location that was close to everything! On one side we were so close to downtown, Hollywood and all the attractions. It was also a short drive to the coast to see Santa Monica, Venice Beach and Malibu. The Kitchen came in handy to cook meals and there was a tv with cable so my boyfriend was able to keep up with the sports highlights and we could check the news for the weather forecasts to plan our days. There was also access to internet.

Kathleen was great to deal with. She was friendly, organized and prompt with responding to our inquires. It was a pleasure to stay here. The welcome package was very helpful with a list of restaurants, grocery stores and other important tips to help our stay. The neighbourhood was really safe and scenic too. We would definitely recommend to stay here!

Kathleen! Please forgive me, we stayed there in September 2011, and I've not left you a review! We wish we could stay there perhaps six months or a year. Your 'Hidden Gem" should stay hidden. In all the time we lived in L.A., we never discovered these streets. Your neighborhood, so safe and unknown, is close to everything. Hollywood and the Valley are at your doorstep, with everything else being not that much further. Enjoyed taking the metro from Universal City to a party in downtown L.A. - 20 minutes! Friends in the Palisades, 30 minutes! Friends in WeHo 20 minutes! Nowhere else in L.A. can you do this. That said, we hope no one else discovers your guest house....... I don't think we ever had the opportunity to say "Thanks" personally, but it's meant sincerely and with deep feeling!

A Wonderful Week

My daughter and I spent 6 nights at the Hidden Gem and couldn't have been more thrilled with our accommodations, as well as the location. It was the best choice we could have made away from home. I would highly recommend this property to all my friends and family who are interested in visiting the Hollywood area. The pictures of the guest house portray exactally what is there and it is stocked with everything that we needed. The location of the attractions are excellent and convenient. Again, our stay couldn't have been any more perfect! If you plan to reserve this amazing property, you should not have any doubts about your decision.

Beautiful, quiet and cosy guesthouse

We stayed at the Hollywood Hills Gem for 6 nights in June and really enjoyed our stay. The guesthouse is clean, cosy and decorated beautifully. The kitchen is fully equipped so you can cook or prepare food very easily. We found the location easy to get to and a nice place to relax and unwind after days of activities and sightseeing. Our host was very helpful and accommodating.
