We had our wedding here recently and it was a mess!!! The mansion itself and the views are beautiful. But it's not a professional place to have a wedding. All the things they promised did not happen. We got the package that came with catering, cake, photography and videography. Everybody's dinner came out at different times. The dinners were very very small, nothing like what we had sampled at our tasting. The photography and videography was not professional at all. Our DVD looks like a guest at the wedding just recorded everything with their own camera! The cops showed up at the wedding for excessive noise after 10pm. We were promised we could play music with a DJ inside (as long as the doors were closed) until 2am! We actually stayed overnight at the mansion with some of the bridal party. They had promised us the jacuzzi would be on and warm--it wasn't!! and when we asked the groundskeeper to turn it on, he just kept saying he would but he never did! The catering staff came with only 2 servers for 200 people! needless to say, the food came out slow and some people actually had to ask for their food! they also left early so nobody was there to serve our cake like we were promised. We also didn't have clean plates, knives or forks to serve the cake. My mother and mother in law WASHED plates and forks and we cut our cake with a big steak knife! It made for great pictures! So just as a warning, DO NOT HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE!
Owner's Response: The service reflected by the guest is the fault of the event company/planner that they hired to plan her wedding. This is not a reflection of the Owner/Estate, as we only rent our home and are not responsible for events that guests might have during their stay. However, in order to ensure that these type of problems never happen again to our guests, we no longer allow that event company on our premises.
