MY GREAT GRANDMOTHER, BARBARA, WAS THE ORIGINAL OWNER OF THIS HOME. IT HAS NEVER BEEN OWNED BY ANYONE OTHER THAN FAMILY THROUGHOUT THE DECADES. IT IS NOW MY TURN TO CARE FOR THIS HOME AND I AM PLEASED TO SHARE IT WITH YOU. I HAVE BEEN BLESSED TO LIVE IN THIS 'LAST BEST PLACE' BOZEMAN, MT. MY ENTIRE LIFE. I AM AS LOCAL AS YOU CAN GET!

THE PROPERTY IS NOSTALGIC TO ME, BRINGING BACK MEMORIES OF MY GRANDFATHER AND THE TIMES WE SPENT TOGETHER SITTING ON THE FRONT PORCH, SOMETIMES SILENTLY WATCHING A SPIDER SPIN ITS WEB. FROM THE FRONT PORCH NEIGHBORS RECEIVED A FRIENDLY WAVE AND THE MAIL WAS ACCEPTED FROM THE HANDS OF THE POSTMAN.

Enjoying vintage atmosphere

Coming from New England - and enjoying "vintage" atmospheres -this house sung to my love and appreciation of the Victorian art of delicate detail and visual strength. The attention to detail was truly appreciated by this seasoned artist. Everything was wonderful!

My family had a lovely time in Bozeman thanks to the gracious accommodations at this VRBO. Everything was first class: the ease of making the reservation, the ease of checking in, the comfortable beds, linens and decor, the location in downtown Bozeman, everything. I hope to stay in this house every time that I'm in Bozeman. You will never want to stay in a chain hotel again after a night here.

Home away from home

Barbara's Place is like our "home away from home"! We love staying in places where we can prepare our own meals and be comfortable. Your home is beautiful and we like the antiques. It was great having a place where our son could visit without it being a motel. Thanks so much for your hospitality. We will remember your home for futures visits.
