Just two miles from magnificent Camelback Mountain, 10-15 minutes northeast to Old Town Scottsdale, and ASU. Papago Park, Botanical Gardens and the Phoenix Zoo are all just a hop, skip and a jump from this beautiful condo. There are golf courses in every direction or you can go tubing at the Salt River for a change of pace. The Grand Canyon is just under a 4 hour drive so why not stop in Sedona along the way to see the Chapel in the Hills or take the kids to Slide Rock State Park. Clean, Claen

We were delayed because of flight mix up. We found the place very quickly (we were in AZ for over 23 years).
Pro: 1. Clean, Clean Clean
2. Quiet 3. Close to 101 (about 4 miles).
4. Close to Scottsdale shopping and heading west there is minor shopping.
5. Laundry right next door -- we did not use this facility.
6. Adequate supplies. We replaced a whole lot more than what was used for "paying it forward".
7. Jim called as we had not arrived to make sure everything was OK. -- Shows genuine concern from the home owners.

Con: 1. Older building in need of upgrade.
2. Minor concern -- no security gates or cameras. In these times, this is a must.
3. "Holy" bed spread in the master bed room.
4. One table lamp is burned out. Could not find a bulb to replace.

Suggestions: 1. Dark paint - apartment is really small -- lightening the paint color and keeping less furniture may help.
2. Get rid of the old incandescent bulbs and replace with high efficiency CFL bulbs to brighten up the rooms and reduce energy!

Overall Recommended.

This condo was everything that I had anticipated! Very clean and roomy for the 4 of us! The grills & pool are very close to the unit. Jim & Peggy were so easy to deal with. I can't wait to go again.

Jim and Peggy have a wonderful 2bdr/2bth unit on the border of Scottsdale, Arizona. They have a beautifully decorated very clean condo, with everything you need linen,towels,laudry supplies and fully equipped kitchen. There is a nice pool in the complex and everyone in the building is very friendly. Old Town Scottsdale is a short drive away with many shops and great resaurants. Both Jim and Peggy are great to deal with and provide excellent customer service. I would recommend them to my family or friends anytime. We rented their other unit last year and would use them again when we come back to Phoenix.

Great place, great experience!

My husband and I just spent almost two months at this rental. I can't say enough about how GREAT the place is and how WONDERFUL the owners are. The rental has all the comforts of home. They had everything we needed to prepare our own meals, there is cable TV, internet, home phone service, etc. They even provide board games and rafts to take to the pool! The location is excellent, right on the border with Scottsdale but still close to downtown Phoenix. There is a grocery store very close to the apartment along with other restaurants and things to do. It was only my husband and I but there is plenty of room for more guests. I think the owners are the best thing about the rental. They were always available for anything we needed at anytime. I would never stay anywhere else in Phoenix. Thank you Jim and Peggy!

Lovely condo in a nice quiet complex

My girlfriends (5 of us) stayed at Jim and Peggy's condo earlier this month. I can't say enough nice things about the place. Beautifully decorated, updated and super clean. They have all the amenities you need. The complex is very centrally located and near lots of good shopping and restaurants. We would definitely stay there again.
