Lovingly restored, this beautifully decorated home retains many of its original features, yet has the added conveniences you have come to expect while on vacation. Amenities include an over-sized refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, laundry room with washer and dryer, large flat screen TV, cable and Internet. The first floor is open and welcoming, with several areas to sit and relax. All bedrooms are upstairs, including the master 'tower room' with a queen-size bed, high ceiling and 6 tall windows to optimize the view. The grand wrap around porch is perfect for dining outside or just sipping a cool drink while watching the sunset over the ocean. There is a large backyard, a gas grill and a hot outdoor shower in back. The house has everything you need for a memorable vacation experience!

This gorgeous antique home was fully renovated in 2010. It is located in Monument Beach, a quiet, quaint area of the Cape just 5 minutes past the Bourne Bridge. Monument Beach is the perfect location to relax and get away from it all, yet still be close to everything the Cape has to offer. The house is walking distance to the public beach, tennis courts, playground, convenience store, local ice-cream shoppe, bakery and pizza restaurant. You can take a short drive to several restaurants including the Lobster Trap and the Chart Room, the canal bike path, hiking trails, mini golf, water park or golf course. Sandwich, Falmouth, Woods Hole and Ferries to the Islands are close by for short day trips.

So Relaxing...

I'm such a procrastinator . We stayed at this beautifully remodeled 100 year old home right before Hurricane Sandy. It is absolutely lovely and we did not have a single complaint.

Remember, this home is over 100 years old, so the stairs are a little off and if you have problems walking up/down stairs you may have trouble.

Also, the home has 1 full bathroom upstairs and 1/2 bath downstairs, but it does have 2 really cute, private showers outside, this would be great for kids since you will be at the beach a lot.

Fall Weekend Get-a-Way

This place is perfect for 2 small families to enjoy a relaxing week or weekend on the Cape! The house has many special touches for the little ones, including a few toys and children's books, a step stool for the bathroom sink, nightlights, and some smaller chairs that are just the right size for young kids. Adults will appreciate a well equipped kitchen and comfortable seating in several rooms. We all enjoyed a walk to the playground on the beach, and the nearby ice cream shop on our first day. After a fantastic seafood dinner down the road, we sat on the wrap around porch to enjoy a cocktail and watch the sunset. The next day, we rented bikes and rode down to Woods Hole to have lunch and shop. We had an incredible fall get-away, and we will certainly be back next Summer!!

Beautiful

This place is gorgeous! It is a beautifully restored house with all the comforts of home. We stayed here in September which is off-season so it was a great deal. It was incredibly peaceful! Sitting on the front porch in the afternoons watching the sunset is a real treat. The beach is across the street and the area is friendly to walkers, joggers and bicycles. We hope to go back to the cape in the summer and will definitely be looking to stay in this house again.

Great Cape Experience

My Husband and I rented this home to be near my daughter in law's family,we were very pleased.The home is in a great quiet beach village, everything in the home is new and decorated with beautiful antiques. The charm of this beautifully restored historical cape home makes you feel welcome and you don't want or need to go out ,the home has alot of everything just bring the food and spirits.The home has great waterviews,sunsets and moonsets from many rooms. A couple of times we even got to see a train car or boat go through the village right from the front porch that wraps around the home or Living Room from the wall of windows that overlooks the Bay. Take a 5 minute walk to the beach, pizzeria/restaurant, or mini market. Continue further and you can get Lobsters,clams... from the local Seafood Market and nearby Restaurants.Our family had a very peacefull enjoyable memorable weekend and highly recommend this unique cape property to all and will be returning for another great cape experience in the spring.
