My husband, Mark Currier and I enjoy using the unit at Inn by the Sea when it is not rented. We relish our quiet time on the balcony overlooking the Gulf as much as hosting friends and family at lunch or dinner.
The numbering of the complex units seems confusing at first but is actually very logical. There are seven connecting building in the shape of a U. Building number 1 and 7 are in the front facing the gulf. Buildings 2,3,5 and 6 face the patio and swimming pool. Building #4 is at the mid-section of the U and faces the Gulf and the patio, pool area. The first number is the building number. The second number is the floor number and the third number is the position on the floor. Thus # 121 is in building #1 on the second floor and is in #1 position. Unit #113 ( listing # 324269) is in building #1 on the first floor and in position #3. It has two balconies and overlooks the Gulf from the front balcony and the patio and pool area from the east facing balcony.
I have always enjoyed the peacefullness of the Mississippi gulf coast. My husbnd and I own Clay Creations and Gallery 220 and live in Old Town Bay St. Louis. We also enjoy the excitment, music and resturants in the French Quarter of New Orleans which is only 60 miles away. A fun day trip. The best of both worlds.
Walking on the beach, viewing the pelicans, seagulls, porpuses, fishing boats and other fortunate people who stay and enjoy the Inn by the Sea. The sunsets are beautiful as are the lights at night on the houses along the coast in Bay St. Louis, the two sets of lights on the new two and a half mile bridge over the bay and the panoramic views.
There are about 12 casinos in about a 30 mile radius. Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville is open.. The casinos offer New York and Las Vegas style entertainment, buffets, first class restaurants and night clubs.
