My favorite cottage in Asheville

My husband and I have been making a summer trek to Asheville every year and this is now my new favorite cottage. We just loved this luxury cotttage. My husband was to be found, most of the time, relaxing on the back deck sitting as close as he could to the wonderful babbling stream that runs right by the deck. We both enjoyed the hot tub, and the many attractive and thoughtful features of the cottage which was very clean and very well stocked. Truly, the pictures on the web site cannot convey how attractive and private this property is. The owners were more than gracious in quickly answering my questions. The cottage is a 15 minute drive to downtown Asheville, and not a bad one at that - the main road to the cottage is quite curvy, but not very steep. . Just ten minutes or less to a big Ingles grocery store, which also rents DVD's inside. When I could pry my husband away from the cottage, we ate at some interesting restaurants. We especially enjoyed: the close Pomodoros Greek and Italian Cafe; Nine Mile, a Caribbean restaurant in the Montford area; and downtown, we enjoyed
Mela, an Indian restaurant and Zambra's for Spanish tapas and refreshing Sangria. Warren Wilson college with its scenic river walk is very close to the cottage, and you can't beat downtown Asheville on a Friday night for crowds of people dancing to the drum circle in Pack Square and having a great time. The cottage location made all this possible, and after a few hours of fun in Asheville or at Warren Wilson, it was a relief to have such a peaceful haven to come home to. Sleep number beds were marvelous. We will be back! Would I bring friends and relatives? Yes, I am planning to bring family members to the cottage again in three weeks, and I can;t wait!
