Steve Matiaco owns Forest Hills Builders and has been building in the valley and on the coast for twelve years. When he came across this property, the view was what caught his eye. He purchased the property, cleared a portion of it and carefully constructed the home where it would capture the panoramic view of Netarts Bay and the surrounding mountains. In 2013, Jim & Dawn Fazio of Moscow, Idaho, joined Steve as partners. Steve manages the property and his family are the primary grounds-keepers. All enjoy the peaceful setting, panoramic views and nearby coastal features.
If you are a first-time visitor, you will especially appreciate the notebook in the kitchen. It shares some of the owners' favorite places to visit nearby, complete with detailed directions. There is other information ranging from how to dig clams to who to contact under any circumstance. And enjoy walks on our private, half-mile nature trail through a mature spruce and hemlock forest. Guide booklets are in the house for your use.
