If you're looking for a vacation spot that feels like home, look no more. Located on a small peninsula, Beard's Cove offers the peace and quiet you crave, with the convenience of being in the heart of the Coast. You are minutes away from gaming, fishing, shopping, restaurants, water parks, Lynn Meadows Children Museum, and lounging on the beach. The street is so quiet you would never think you are in the middle of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Beard's Cove is more than a vacation rental-it's a home away from home.

Why the Owner Chose Gulfport: : This home is absolutely beautiful, even without the breath-taking views. But what really sold us was how conveniently located it is to everything we need or love to do. It's 2 minutes from a grocery store, 5 minutes from the beach, 1 minute from a boat launch, minutes from several local restaurants, only about 10 minutes from the Island View Casino and 15 minutes from the Beau Rivage.

The Unique Benefits at this House:: Year Purchased: 2007 - I think the most unique thing about our home is what happens in the fall of the year. Standing at the bulkhead bordering the yard you can catch shrimp or crabs without leaving your vacation home. There just aren't many places offering that kind of unique family entertainment.

Owner Description/Comments:: My wife and I own a catering and casseroles-to-go business call BB's Take N' Bake. My partners are Bob Dowd and his son Matt. Bob is a third party retirement plan consultant in Brandon, Ms, while Matt is a practicing attorney in Jackson, Ms.

What a wonderful vacation home!

Two families - four adults and six kids - spent a week in this home, and what a week it was! This was my family's third vacation tomthe Mississippi gulf coast in the past six years, and the third home we rented. This was the best of the three! Plenty of room, everything was clean and in good working order, and we had everything we needed. It was a week of warm, Mississippi hospitality and an awesome break from the Iowa winter. The only thing missing was the crawfish pie I read so many great reviews for!

We will come back, and when we do, I will call Turner. Great house!

Great Place to stay and cool area!

We found the property to be as nice as the pictures and comfortable for our family. 2 adults and 6 children, ages 8-20. Once we looked around the surrounding area(s), we found much to do...New Orleans was a favorite as was Mobile. A great central location to visit local attractions. It would have been even better if the weather cooperated, but it was still a fun and relaxing vacation. The kitchen was beautiful and it was very helpful to have laundry on site!

Turner & Brandi - Thanks so much for sharing your home. We had the best weekend. Everything was perfect! The house was beautiful, clean, and had everything needed for a relaxing getaway. We loved sitting on the porch and gazing at the water, watching the mullets jump. We enjoyed the kayaking, crabbing, and fishing. We even had board games to play while it rained. Brandi's crawfish pie was the best we ever had. Can't wait to go back. You were so nice to work with! We will be back again & again. Mona, Jeff and the boys!

Great private home.plenty of room and all the necessary equipment needed.We enjoyed it very much and the owners are very friendly and helpful.Everything is close( shops,beach,casinos,golf).Our first choice if we return to Gulfport.
