We are now open to book for Summer 2013! In order to best serve our guests, our rental policy has changed to a one week minimum.

Lovely newly-renovated cottage on beautiful Easton's Point. Every charming detail is perfect! Very close to Atlantic Beach Club, Easton's Beach (fun for all ages), 2nd Beach (great for surfing), short drive to 3rd Beach (quieter & great for kids). 15 minute walk to downtown Newport or 2-3 minute drive. The house is on a quiet street just two blocks from an amazing ocean overlook and very short walk to the beach. There is a driveway for one car as well as street parking. Small yard and 8x10 deck off the kitchen. You can rent bikes nearby, swim, there is a YMCA a short drive away and nearby Newport Athletic Club offers short-term memberships. Plenty of restaurants walking distance and many more a short drive away. Wonderful antiquing and other shopping in downtown Newport as well!

The house has one bedroom and one bath and is ideal for a couple or single person visiting Newport and hoping for a quiet get-away. This is not the house for large groups or people interested in a crazy downtown bar scene! The whole house was completely gutted and re-done in 2010, all new bathroom and kitchen fixtures, all new appliances, all new furniture...

You will find the kitchen to be of great quality - with a small dishwasher, complete set of dishes, glassware, and cooking implements, microwave, full size fridge, oven, etc. Laundry center in a closet off the bedroom. Flat screen TV with cable in living room. Comfortable fold-out couch allows for children or an additional visitor to stay. A porta-crib may also be available.

Easton's Point is a much coveted part of Aquidneck Island - provides quiet while also having access to beach, restaurants, and wonderful walks. Best of Newport without the craziness!

I live in California but vacation in Rhode Island every year with my two kids. We love the small size and manageability of our vacation home!

Why The Owner chose Easton's Point

We love Rhode Island and especially Newport, but downtown has turned into a bit of a party scene in the evenings. Our little cottage in Middletown makes all the best of Newport and Aquidneck accessible while still being quiet and serene.

What makes this cottage unique

We love walking down to Atlantic Beach club for a drink or dinner, are at the beach almost every day - whether it be Easton's for the kids and the Del's, 3rd beach for relaxation, or 2nd beach for a little more adventure! Great coffee and breakfast places nearby, and we love to shop when we are in town as well. A drive/long walk to see the mansions or a stroll down cliff walk are other favorite activities not to be missed while in this area!

Easton's beach has many kids activities, bumper boats, carousel, playground, etc. Short walk to Atlantic Beach Club restaurant, bar, and reception/banquet hall.

My family and I stayed for a total of 7 weeks and it is such an amazing little cottage so close to everything. We walked the 5 minutes daily to the beach and enjoyed what it had to offer. The owners are great and so are the neighbors. Very close to first and Second beaches, 15 minutes from down town and so close to Flo's Clam Shack, the Atlantic Beach Club... Such a great cottage! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy cottage.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Adventure Seekers, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway

just wanted to thank you for a very relaxing week and for the bath set.

Only 2 sunny days but I think it was just what I needed..to do nothing!
The cottage is adorable and I totally got just what I wanted
