Welcome to Casita Las Brisas, your peaceful interlude in the Edna Valley of the Central Coast of California. Nestled on a ridge overlooking this premier wine region, surrounded by wineries and vineyards, and located on a private gated drive, Casita Las Brisas provides serenity in a setting of spectacular vistas in all directions. This luxuriously appointed 2 bedroom home, graced with antiques throughout, has a private spa set in its own terrace. The modern kitchen with granite counters and stainless appliances gives you the option of preparing wonderful fresh produce from area farmer's markets.
Edna Valley, CA Central Coast:: Edna Valley is nestled between San Luis Obispo and Arroyo Grande, halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco, a few miles from Pacific Coast beaches, Highway 101 and 10 minutes from the San Luis Obispo County Airport (SBP.)
Wine-growing Region:: Although a small area, Edna Valley is a premier California wine-growing region with its own appellation, specializing in Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Syrah grapes. The unusual southeast-northwest valley orientation receives the benefits of marine breezes producing a form of natural air-conditioning. With these breezes and the excellent soil structure composed of sand, limestone, gravel and alluvial loam, Edna Valley vineyards have ideal conditions for producing premium wines. Casita Las Brisas sits on a ridge with spectacular vistas in all directions, surrounded by two acres of beautifully landscaped grounds. From Casita Las Brisas you can bike to many well-known wineries. Be sure to visit area Farmer's Markets. A private spa set in its own terrace overlooks the vineyards and the Santa Lucia coastal mountain range. We are 10 miles from historic San Luis Obispo, and 5 miles from equally historic Arroyo Grande.
Nearby beaches:: Desirable Pacific Coast beaches are nearby: 5 miles to Pismo Beach, 15 miles to Avila Beach and Port San Luis, and 20 miles to Montana de Oro and Morro Bay State Parks. Hearst Castle State Park lies an hour north on Highway 1, near an elephant seal rookery.
We spent the weekend here with our twin toddlers. We loved the house, it felt more like a home than a rental and had all the basics needed for our stay. Judie was an absolute pleasure to work with before and during our stay and was there with a bottle of wine to welcome us. We loved that it had Apple TV. The property is beautiful and our boys loved exploring the grounds (while the property is fine for kids, obviously you'll have to keep an eye on little ones as it's on top of a steep hill), checking out the citrus grove and especially seeing the goats and llamas. The only bathroom with a tub you'll need to exit the house and walk through an exterior door to, but it still worked fine for us. Will definitely come back here when we come to SLO again.
This was our 2nd time staying at the property & it was just as wonderful as the first. It is a very well kept house with fabulous views. We enjoyed relaxing on the patio, unwinding in the hot tub & fresh grapefruit everyday from the garden. It is very close to great wine tasting, downtown SLO & beautiful beaches. We look forward to visiting again. The rental process was very easy & the hostess was very accommodating to our needs.
We were very impressed with this lovely hilltop home- I was a bit dizzy at first looking at the views! Private, spacious and quiet with an occasional goat bleating in the distance.
Not very far from the sweet town of Arroyo Grande and less than 10 mins from the ocean.
The owner/ mangmnt people were very professional and gracious. I would for sure recommend this spot and, would love to come back.
I recently visited Casita Las Brisas for our 8th Wedding Anniversary. The house was absolutely incredible. We could have not asked for anything more....the view, the amenities, and the hot tub was our favorite. We had planned to go out to dinner but decided to stay in house and cook a meal instead since we did not want to leave the lovely grounds! The property manager was very kind and helpful! I definitely plan on returning!
We were a group of 4 women looking for a weekend away. This was a perfect rental. The location is beautiful, and the house is VERY accommodating. The hostess was there to great us and orient us to the house. Everything was just as it says in their website. We were minutes from Pismo and SLO, and took a nice drive to Paso Robles. We are already making plans to book this again.
We enjoyed our family getaway in this beautiful home! If you are looking for a peaceful getaway which feels like you're in your own little private piece of the world yet only minutes from some amazing wine tasting, the adorable downtown San Luis Obispo, as well as Pismo Beach and a short distance to many quaint beach towns up and down the Central Coast this is a great place! Jacki was very attentive and accommodating and ensured our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We definitely look forward to returning to this beautiful property. I don't think it's possible to capture the breathtaking views in photos, but, rest assured the grounds are spectacular! What a find!!! Thank you!
