Packwood becomes a winter wonderland with its snow covered mountains and beautifully groomed trails. Enjoy while snowshoeing, snowmobiling, skiing or snowboarding and only 20 minutes to White Pass. A winter oasis where you can find all these activities and maybe even some new adventures of your own. Sledding, making snowmen or snow angels, and afterward warming up in front of a warm cozy fire, sitting in the hot tub over looking the Colitz River with a glass of wine and great company. It doesn't get much better then that. If you're lucky enough, you may see elk grazing in the meadow, or crossing the river, beavers playing in the water, eagles swoooping down for a salmon, or raccoon bandits waiting for nightfall, to come investigate who is new in the neighborhood.
