Whether you are on a nice quiet vacation in the beautiful Smokey mountains, a newlywed couple on a romantic honeymoon, getaway for family and friends, or on a business trip involved in the area, our rental house is just the place for you to relax, take in the scenery and breathe in the fresh mountain air.

Located in beautiful Maggie Valley, North Carolina, Maggie's Cottage is just a short walk downtown, and will bring you to the best restaurants and shopping in the area. On a beautiful stream, you will find all the amenities you could ask for. The house says it all. Secluded and private, your stay here will be as enjoyable as you could ever imagine.

Inside you have your own private art gallery for your visual enjoyment. Artwork from emerging and established artists may be purchased if you so choose.

Year Purchased: 2008: I have been a Host for 15 years for the Visitors Information Channel here in Maggie Valley which advertises all the attractions and businesses for the area and County to show travelers all the things to do while in our area.

Why the Owner Chose Maggie Valley: I had the house built last year in Maggie Valley for the simple fact of the beautiful mountains, and also for the ease of getting to. Very easy access to the house, yet very private. The location is PERFECT for vacationers to experience Maggie Valley and the surrounding areas.

The Unique Benefits of this Cottage: Aside from the Scenery from the covered porch, is the Hot Tub on the back porch, Private Art Gallery throughout, Gazebo/B-B-Q area, surround sound system, and Jacuzzi Garden tub in the Master Bath, fireplace,......etc.

Beautiful Home!

This home is absolutely beautiful! After a long days drive, it was wonderful to arrive at this warm, cozy cottage. It is very well taken care of. Everything you need for an enjoyable stay is there, including lots of brochures on area attractions and restaurants. Sarah was a pleasure to work with, even when I thought I would have to cancel. Luckily, we did not have to cancel and had a very enjoyable visit. Thank you, Sarah!!

Best Vacation Cottage Ever

Everything was perfect at Maggie's Cottage! We were there for a week and this is the first vacation in 34 years that my husband wasn't ready to go home by the middle of the week. We felt like we were welcomed home everytime we walked in and it was really hard to leave once you were there. Sarah is the best hostess ever, she has thought of everything in this cottage. It was above and beyond the description and photos listed. As others have stated, the only bad part was having to leave! I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a little privacy and seclusion with awesome mountain views, but is close enough to walk to beautiful downtown Maggie Valley, and some wonderful restaurants. And if you're lucky enough to visit Maggie Valley, we really enjoyed Frankie's Italian Trattoria for delicious Italian, J. Arthur's Restaurant (right at the bottom of the street from Maggie's Cottage) for wonderful Prime Rib, Garlic Knots for awesome pizza, and Maggie Valley Restaurant (right across the street to the cottage) for down home country breakfasts!

My wife and I spent this past Christmas in Maggie Valley and stayed in Maggie's Cottege. It is a wonderful place to unwind and get away from it all. The furnishings are what I would like to have, if I had a cottage of my own. A great getaway.

Great Weekend

We spent a couple nights at Maggie's Cottage in hopes to ski at Cataloochee. Although the weather that weekend was not conducive for skiing we were still able to have a great weekend in Maggie Valley. We enjoyed the hot tub and local restaurants while heading over to Cherokee for a few hours one night. All in all, well worth the drive from Charlotte to get away and enjoy the change of scenery. Look forward to returning again soon. Many Thanks to Sarah for her great communication and accommodations at her beautiful home. :)
